The FBI went to bat for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, saying that handling emails with classified information — even when it’s marked — isn’t enough to prove she had “knowledge or intent” to break the law.
In a letter to congressional investigators, the FBI’s chief liaison to Capitol Hill said Mrs. Clinton did handle three messages with a “(C)” mark next to paragraphs, “ostensibly indicating” the following information as classified. But Jason V. Herring said that’s not enough to show she was negligent.
Mr. Herring also questioned whether the laws against handling classified material in a “grossly negligent” way would hold up in court, saying the FBI has long been suspect.
“The fact that Secretary Clinton received emails containing ‘(C)’ portion markings is not clear evidence of knowledge or intent,” Mr. Herring said in a letter to House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, a Republican, and Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the ranking Democrat.
Mr. Chaffetz on Monday had sent a letter laying out four different areas where he said Mrs. Clinton may have lied to Congress and calling for her to face perjury charges, including over the “(C)” markings.

Oh baloney - was she using a private e-mail server for official government business when she knew she should only be using the government account? Yes. Did she know she had set up the private e-mail server and wasn’t using the e-mail account she was supposed to be using? Yes.

This is bogus. Information is classified regardless of markings. You would think the SoS would know that pretty much any email she got was classified. Removing markings is a serious offense too and I have read that emails exists where Hilldog instructed people to do just that.

If I were a lawyer, I might argue this:
They can say that all they want, but the charge here is perjury. Their argument does not degrade her perjury charge. The precedence clearly exists for the need for her to make truthful statements. (That is, it’s not just lying before Congress about the weather.)
She didn’t say “I don’t remember” or “to my knowledge”, right? Perjury laws exist here to maintain the oversight process, and she INTENTIONALLY subverted it.
This is only 1 of the 4 cases of her criminal perjury.

Was the information in her emails conclusive? She was the Head of the State Dept for God’s sake.
The settled law on this up until a Clinton got snagged was that markings were not determinative, content was.
It’s clear that the FBI is compromised and will serve the role of a state-sponsored terrorist organization.
Comey, you’re a whore in the kingdom of whores, and you are at the head table.
The FBI has become an extension of the Democrat Party.
