FDR, who loved Stalin ............................. I don’t know if we could call it love, but it was convenient! Old Joe took us out of the depression. Tons of $$$$$ came in for tons of locomotives, planes, trucks, tanks, ammunition, spam, uniforms and I’m sure the list is even longer. FDR made money for the USA industry, Yalta etc. was just sloppy negotiations. Uncle Joe was better at it.

WWII did not end the Depression. WWII took place during the Depression. The Depression didn’t really end until late 1946, at the earliest.
