Susan Collins does not have to write in the best candidate to lead our country. Trump already is on the ballet.
Suggest that Susan Collins stop getting her news from CNN, CBS, MSNBC, ABC. Then maybe she would find that Trump is the most qualified candidate.
Trump will reduce taxes, replace Obamacare, strengthen our military, secure our borders, negotiate trade deals that place America first, remove regulatory barriers, protect the unborn, and eliminate dependence on countries that do not like us.
Trump will reintroduce common sense in place of Political correctness.
By pretending that she cannot see Donald Trump, she is confusing her constituents and adding chaos to this election.
If Susan Colliins is a true patriot she would be doing everything she can to get Trump elected over Hillary Clinton. Otherwise she is just another useful idiot supporting the Culture of Death.
Of course anyone who really wants our nation to prosper and who wants their kids to have a chance at a better life should vote for Trump.
This ignoramus is personally responsible for foisting the atrocity of Obamacare on us all, since her vote for cloture put the bill before the Senate. Why the hell isn’t she gone already? Blame it on the Mainiacs.
Maybe Collins should write in her own name, the ultimate act of disenfranchisement.
Why doesn’t she just write herself in? There isn’t a more qualified RINO.

Collins got her weekend on the Sunday morning shows and the praise of the media. A week from now her defection will be forgotten as she is a minor player. It will have zero impact on the election since we are still two months away from when people start casting ballots.
The October surprise this year may be a massive and public betrayal of Trump about October 15. Imagine George W. Bush, George H.W. Bush, Ryan, McConnell, McCain, several GOP governors, and a number of prominent GOP Congressmen and Senators endorsing Hillary on the same day and the media frenzy which would follow through the early voting period to election day.
I’ve been saying the same thing for years. She is a wet loon.
So a RINO has to deal with not having a candidate she likes. Finally, they get a taste of what we’ve had to go through election cycle after election cycle. The difference is most of us sucked it up and went ahead and voted for the GOP nominee, even when we didn’t like them.
It’s too bad that it’s so hard to get incumbents like Collins (and Ryan and McCain, etc.) out. Really getting a good look at the people we have in the Congress, for the first time in my life I’ve become a strong supporter of Congressional term limits. We wouldn’t have nearly as big a problem with the establishment if the same people didn’t have such a lock grip on power for decades.
If that sort of Republican created “October Surprise” happens and Trump loses, then I really hope he starts his own center-right, populist pro-American party intended to rival the Republicans, as well as represent blue-collar Dems and Indies. Even though he’ll probably never run again, this could turn out to be a remarkable legacy for him, if he can get others on board.
Starting his own cable news network would be another great idea, especially if he could get some prominent people not currently in government to host some of the shows. Newt, Huckabee, maybe even Carson would draw good ratings (and of course Trump himself if he’s willing). Fox would end up regretting being the mouthpiece of the GOPe, if Trump takes away a lot of their viewers.
Trump is the Republican nominee. You might want to rethink your logic.
Well, duh. Every time I see an elected Republican like Collins cutting campaign commercials for Hillary it just reaffirms my decision to not vote GOP down ticket. Sorry, There is not one shred of evidence the GOP has any intention of supporting the Trump agenda. Therefore, I and my family will not be supporting the GOP here in Florida down ticket.
Any vote not designed and intended to stop Hillary is a vote FOR Hillary. A vote is a weapon not a mark of approval.
i helped. holding my nose tightly. maine is a weird state that on one hand elects susan collins but on the other elects paul lepage. as senator she has a 78% approval rating. only lower than bernie sanders. 2A being my most important issue, hopefully her actions will help trump win maine.
