A crowd of protesters skirmished with police Saturday night in a Milwaukee neighborhood where an officer shot and killed a man after a traffic stop and foot chase earlier in the day, setting fire to a police car and torching a gas station. One officer was hurt by a thrown brick.
Police said the 23-year-old man was armed with a handgun, but Assistant Chief Bill Jessup told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that it wasn't immediately clear whether the man had pointed a gun or fired at the officer. They described the man as a suspect, but didn't say what led to the traffic stop.
The races of the man and the officer weren't immediately released.
The Journal Sentinel reported that a crowd of more than 100 people gathered in a standoff with 20 to 30 officers, some of whom wore riot gear, several hours after the shooting. Officers got in their cars to leave at one point and some in the crowd started smashing a squad car's windows. Another police car was set on fire. The newspaper also reported that one of its reporters was shoved to the ground and punched.

Fire rubber bullets and pepper spray grenades
Does this violence, when reported, help or hurt Trump?
The ‘hoodrats are shooting at police, firefighters, and first responders with real ammo.
The police need to return the favor.
Shoot at cops, and don’t be surprised when they shoot back!

I love it! The very people, Mayor and Aldermen, responsible for the “lack of education, jobs, etc et al, are speaking that there has to be “something” done to help the folks.
What a crock!! I lived as a youth within four blocks of tonight’s action. I passed the corners of Sherman Blvd and Burleigh and the corner of 35th and Burleigh everyday to and from school. All the folks in the pictures voted for the same clowns that spoke at the news conference. God help’em since the clowns will not.

Saw this reported on Chicago news. The news guy actually said the “folks” were “angry.”
Saw that flag flying from a flagpole in the bed of a pickup truck the other day. Didn’t know what it was.
I lived in Milwaukee duiring the last riots 40 yeas+ ago. Where in the city did this happen. I lived on the edge of the core on State Street, and had an armed jeep outside my front door.
There is no reason for the "but" to be in that sentence other than to create a psychological inference that despite the subject having a gun, the cops did something wrong.
What is THAT?
This is the ‘other’ America on display and we’re quickly approaching critical mass.
Great flag! Prayers offered up for our police officers in all communities.
Highly unlikely that those folks need or deserve nice things in their neighborhood like gas stations or bus stops.
