A chaotic scene unfolded tonight after a police officer shot and killed an armed suspect in the north side of the city of Milwaukee. Police were in riot gear and as they left in their patrol cars, rioters smashed their windows and attacked the cars. A journalist was attacked too.
A standoff between police and an angry crowd turned violent Saturday night in the hours after a Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect during a foot chase on the citys north side.
More than 100 people gathered near the scene at N. 44th St. and W. Auer Ave. and at times pushed against a line of 20 to 30 officers, some of whom were in riot gear.
At one point, the officers got in their cars to leave and some in the crowd started smashing the windows and side of a squad car that appeared to be demolished. Another vehicle was set on fire. As officers returned to the scene, this time many more in riot gear, three or four gunshots could be heard about 8:45 p.m.
Soon thereafter, the crowd turned on and attacked reporters and a photographer from the Journal Sentinel. One reporter was shoved to the ground and punched.

On that, we both agree.
Then pull every policeman/woman out.Put out the word that anyone of them that caught beyond a certain street will be shot on sight. Then do it when necessary. If they want to live like wild animals. Let them live like animals to their heart’s content. They can kill, rob, rape, and steal from each other as long as they please. Just do not allow them to prey on the good people.
Yeah! Does the heart good, doesn’t it?
I agree with your observation. It's what makes all of this so disturbing.
Because this is a problem at the very basic level of morality, it is so ingrained that it's hard to imagine what might turn it around. Obviously, some basic conversion is needed but how God will accomplish that is beyond my pay grade.
Until earlier this year, I used to carry a Kimber Ultra with 7 rounds for CCW.
However, after seeing the possibilities of destruction these savages can wreak, I recently upgraded to a Glock 19, and have bought several 33 round mags. I will always have at least 1 33 round mag in the car and possibly several.
I would advise others who are have a similar setup to reevaluate their carry choice.
The rioters are members of a protected species.
While they are not on the Endangered Species List, there are a protected species. And if certain individuals, the police for one and a Citizen defending themselves from one of their criminal acts, hurts their feelings, let alone injures or kills one of them. Said individual will suffer dire consequences from the Government.
I looked there. Just awful. Someone posted that a cop was hit in the head with a brick and taken to the hospital
It's kind of hard to conceal, but just the sight of one will render all liberals unconscious within a two-block radius.
Kent State was 1971. Things seemed to quiet down after that, but maybe I am wrong.
True. Possible a new strategy. Lol. A new way of dealing these thugs is coming. Hopefully with media and govt thugs too.
That’s been my standard car load out for years. After 9/11 and other events, I considered acquiring an SKS carbine for a trunk gun, but have never acted on that.
BTW, the Korean-made high capacity Glock mags have worked great for me, and are available in calibers other than 9mm, unlock the Glock ones. I have not had good luck with the Scherer mags. Not worth spit.
Excellent choice.
Went from a 26 to a 19 as well.
The 33 sticks are a must in the center console as well.
Milwaukee - Like Detroit, Chicago and St. Louis, it’s become Obamacrap.
Kel-Tec carbine that takes Glock mags as well. Sub2K folds up nicely and stores well.
To clarify for everyone’s benefit, the Police Chief of the City of Milwaukee, WI is Edward A. Flynn ...former Massachusetts’ Governor Mitt Romney’s Secretary of Public Safety (2003-2006) and the former Police Commissioner for Springfield, MA (2006-2008).
Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn’s Bio: http://city.milwaukee.gov/Directory/police/About-MPD/Chief.htm#.V7BwGI-cF9A
Note that the City of Milwaukee is NOT under the direct jurisdiction of Sheriff David Clarke, who is the Sheriff of Milwaukee County, WI. (It is possible there may be some local “overlap”/coordination during times of emergency; however, I am not a WI resident; so, perhaps some of the “locals” can clarify on how those two geographic areas interrelate in terms of law enforcement.)
Then you’re one of the few liberal liberals.
The authoritarian left is horrifying - but there are voices like Sargon of Akkad and Stephen Molynauex who are still classically liberal, defending freedom of opinion and speech because they know how important it is.
Too many libertarians are ONLY free sex and drugs, who cares about the state’s power. It is like the so called anarchists who are actually demanding a massive state so that people are down to their bodies and petty possessions.
“This would fall under the jurisdiction of Sheriff David Clarke.”
____________
This incident appears to be under the jurisdiction of the City of Milwaukee’s Police Chief; Edward A. Flynn ...a former Mitt Romney appointee (Sec of Public Safety under former Gov Romney) and former Police Commissioner for Springfield, MA.
Sheriff Clarke is Sheriff of Milwaukee County, WI. (Please see my post #156 for further details/comment.)
Sargon the Akkadian who conquered the Sumerians?
Interesting. He called himself a ‘changeling’, tossed in the river and adopted.
