Depends on the pie.
If he’s talking Apple or blueberry, then it makes sense.
If he’s talking pecan or cherry, then it doesn’t.

If he’s talking pumpkin or lemon, then it’s up in the air.

You make an excellent point, but a lot of that can be mitigated with ice cream.
