That's what I was thinking." ...Vickers said he found Trump to be "intelligent," "ethical" and having "the moral character we need," said Trump got off-script when he tried to make what Vickers called "a bad joke."
"He should just say, `I'm sorry. I screwed up. I shouldn't have said that in the first place and let's move on to things that really matter,'" Vickers said.
Meanwhile, Vickers' reaction is still getting attention around the world.
"I'm just a poor guy from Oak Island," Vickers said. "I mean we have the occasional shark bite down here, which everybody knows about, but I am just surprised. I have done interviews with CNN London England, Skype interviews with Canada."
