My phone has been ringing OFF THE HOOK with unknown numbers. Either asking for contributions, or polls.
As the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler would say,

What’s with all the unknown numbers?
I still have a landline but it has a “do not disturb” feature that sends any caller not on my designated list to “accept” straight to a message that says “this customer is not accepting calls at this time” so I haven’t a clue how many people actually try to call me.
Prior to getting that feature, I got at least 5 calls EVERY day from telemarketers, construction companies and every other business with something to sell.
I’m not curious enough about how many pollsters would try to call me to turn it off.
