GREEN BAY, Wisc. Donald Trump's campaign said Friday it barred House Speaker Paul Ryan's primary challenger Paul Nehlen from entering the candidate's Wisconsin rally because the candidate didn't show a ticket, refuting Nehlen's charges that the Wisconsin Republican Party was working to keep him away.

Nehlen tried to attend the rally as a spectator, but told reporters after a Saturday-afternoon rally in Kenosha, that he was barred entry by the state party in an attempt to keep him out of the public eye.
"The Wisconsin GOP is doing everything they can to keep my name out of anywhere. They don't want their own constituents to know that, that there's an option out there. They want Speaker Ryan to be the only game in town. That's how the Wisconsin machine works," Nehlen told NBC News in an interview.
But a Wisconsin GOP staffer pushed back Nehlen's comments, telling NBC News that the Wisconsin GOP staff at the rally were acting as volunteers, and only the Trump campaign had the discretion to decide who to bar from entering the rally. And Trump Campaign Communications Director Jason Miller said that it was the campaign's decision to turn Nehlen away from the Green Bay rally.
"A Trump campaign representative was the person who turned away Mr. Nehlen, because he didn't have a ticket for the event. I'm looking into the matter further. Our events are always open to the public if you're a ticketed attendee," Miller said in an interview.
In response, the Nehlen campaign produced copies of two tickets to the Green Bay rally they say they tried to use to get in to the event. Asked about the tickets, the Trump campaign reiterated that no ticket was presented at the door, without clearing up the discrepancy between the two.

Trump hater troll post
Move along Hillary troll .
You really want the Dem to win .
What do you base that statement on? I have seen nothing about Nehlen to suggest that he is not the real deal.
I attended a rally in Raleigh. Tickets were issued and no one asked to see them. Admission was until area was full no ticket needed. We’re tickets actually needed here?
Nehlen was being disruptive and not invited.
He was there to cause trouble .
He knew better.
Why did he hold his win rally across town.
I am not impressed by this guy after this College level PR brand..
You comment s ridiculous.
Nehlen needs to host his own rallies right now not crashing Trumps .
Being a disruptive jerk makes him look petty and small.
A real man would had a counter rally but he wants to use the Trump hating media to smear Trump.
I wish I had not given him Money ..
Very sleazy move by Nehlen.
I’m glad you posted that link to the background investigation of Paul Nehlen.
Ryan could have been primaried hard by a populist conservative from here (Wisconsin) who had some community background and history. This Nehlen guy feels like someone they pulled out of a casting call for a local car dealership ad and parachuted into Ryan’s district,
The Trump rally would have been a good venue for throwing in the towel
He was not there to cause trouble. He has attended a Pence rally in the past. He supports Trump and wants him for President. He has defended Trump at every single opportunity unlike Paul Ryan. Even after Trump endorsed Paul Ryan, he still defended Trump.
Nehlen just had a rally with Ann Coulter yesterday. Nehlen never smeared Trump. Nehlen blamed the WI GOP. The media contacted the WI GOP to ask why they did that, and the WI GOP denied it. Then they talked to the Trump campaign who admitted that they turned him away.
Nehlen is a non-entity. He would be destroyed in November. He claims he is a “small businessman” but his “business” has never filed a state tax return. Stop slamming Trump over this nobody. I DESPISE Ryan. but he is going to win easily. This is NOT Dave Brat here.
Don’t know what to believe.
He was crashing the rally .
why isn't he hosting this own rally ........the election is Tuesday .
Politician don't CRASH uninvited another rally with one an formal invite.
He raced over the Trump hating media especially
NBC to whine and cry and make a ruckus says it all.
He is a jerk and must be losing to pull this high school level stunt. Do the Dems play these petty Games for the media ! No.
How much do you want to put on it that Nehlen (who might I add is also as conservative as they come) now becomes enemy #1 and trashed around here to have one believe “he was never conservative to begin with”
Talk about American Pravada
I supported this guy until this stunt .
He should host his own rally not play into the Trump hating media hands .
Politicians disrupting a fellow GOPer rally is petty and bitter .
I gave the guy money but this stunt was a low class move.
Host your own rally .
Ping 33
He was not crashing the rally. He was attending. He had two tickets. What do you think he was going to do? Act like a Bernie person and start yelling? He had attended a Pence rally in the past. He was going to stand there in a crowd of thousands, watch the rally, and leave like everyone else.
He talked to the Daily Caller and said he was not allowed in by the WI GOP (who has been continually working against him). The media contacted the WI GOP to find out why they did that, and it turns out it was the Trump campaign.
He has tirelessly defended Trump and even defended Trump’s decision to endorse Ryan. Paul Ryan is the one who runs to the media all the time to throw Trump under the bus, not Nehlen.
Amen! I took your advice.
Trump just did a HUGE favor for Nehlen. Gave him good ole FRONT PAGE headlines FREE of CHARGE. Politics Trump style. They probably planned it ahead of time.
Nehlen’s major problem in Wisconsin is not support for Ryan but lack of name recognition.
Enter Trump.
Living rent free in their heads....
I think Teddy Roosevelt was actually a progressive.
