In most, if not all, sports the answer to your question is no. Think baseball: the ball you hit into fair territory strikes a beer bottle thrown by a fan, costing you a base and your team a run.
You argue "obstruction." The ump shrugs his shoulders, and says "the obstruction was in the field of play."
