Busted! Crooked Media Plays With Polling Numbers To Pretend Georgia Is Hillary Country

Another day – another blatant example of the media manipulating polls to discourage Trump voters.

Reuters was caught red-handed changing poll results to erase a Trump lead last week.

Now the Atlanta Journal Constitution does the same pretending that Hillary is going to win Georgia.

Polling firms contact registered voters. The number of voters who answer the phone and agree to the survey are put into a number called the “unweighted base.” The polling firm then applies their own “formula” based on who they think is going to vote. In the example below, 278 Republicans in Georgia answered the phone for a poll in May. The AJC’s polling firm thinks that’s too many Republicans, so they move that to 245, “adjusting” the numbers with an “average weighted response.” SNIP 2 1/2 months, later, the same polling firm substantially altered their “secret formula.”

Compare these two crosstabs. This is a link to the Aug 1-4 poll. Here is the poll by the same outfit back in May. The first number is the raw data. The second is the weighted sample. Talk about a giant leap! Snip The difference in the results is in the weighted average, which is the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s polling firm putting it’s thumb on the scale. To believe this poll is remotely true, you’d have to believe that hundreds of thousands of registered Republicans in Georgia plan to sit out the election entirely.

I am a Conservative; I have never been polled (probably never will be), all in the media are liars, including FAUX News.

I have never been polled either so that tells you who they’re polling. Probably all inner city sampling with a heavy minority dose.

These polls are meaningless because they’re conducted by biased pollsters who likely conduct do over’s if the results are too heavily Trump.

Trump Campaign needs to wisen up. When a surrogate or when Trump himself is on the air, and the media tries to site a poll, it’s time to start questioning the methodology, what parts of the state were polled, who was the pollster and what are their political leanings?

Do that every time and the media will be forced to have to try to run more accurate polling. Trump should also run his own internal polling and use that to counter the media poll.

If there were a shred of truth to the polls, Hillary would be having larger, more enthusiastic crowds. As it is, even with paid attendees and/or forced student participation, she’s preaching to small, placid crowds. The only excitement comes when she gets protested—giving her first an opportunity to freeze up, and then yet another opportunity to reel off a stupid, obvious lie.
