The 2016 USC Dornsife / LA Times Presidential Election Poll represents a pioneering approach to tracking changes in Americans' opinions throughout a campaign for the White House. Around 3000 respondents in our representative panel are asked questions on a regular basis on what they care about most in the election, and on their attitudes toward their preferred candidates. The "Daybreak poll" is updated just after midnight every day of the week.

I believe that this is a tight race. Hillary probably has a slight lead right now. The electorate does not move as quickly as some of these polls lead one to believe.
Turnout is going to be key. The question is who shows up this election year.

Agreed. It just seems a little more ramped up for Trump, definitely at Palin levels as she was cut from similar "outside the establishment" cloth.
Oh, and as to the "nuclear weapons" thing, I've conjectured that Trump likely said something along the lines of "If we're not going to use them, why do we have them?".
But I don't think he was advocating their use. I think he was questioning the spend, as in "Why did we bother spending billions on weapons we're never going to use?"

So do I and I’m from the South.

I pray you’re right and that Trump can turn things around.
Right now, I believe everything will ride on how he does in the debates, where I hope the Trump campaign can successfully negotiate who the moderators will be.
No Candy Crowleys!!

I think you mean Gutfeld...and, quite unfortunately, Dana Perino...I say unfortunately, becaue she is quite lovely, but she cant go against her beloved Bushes...No. I was speaking of "Fox & Friends". Gutfeld and Perrino are on "The Five".

Hello Troll
So there was a national Dem ekection ?..
When ?. I love your effort to destroy Trump support here. Move along.
Sanders would have won itif the super delegates system did not exist.
Fact.
How unfortunate that you are confusing the introduction of facts into a conversation as trolling.
Let's look at your assertion that Comrade Bernie would have won the Democratic nomination if only there had been no super delegates, shall we?
Which candidate won the most votes in the Democratic primaries? Clinton received over 15 million votes, while Sanders received over 12 million votes:
Democratic Vote Count
Now, in case math is not your strong suit, 15 million is a larger number than 12 million.
Fact.
But of course, we also need to look at the delegate count itself. Of the 4763 delegates to the Democratic convention, 4051 were pledged delegates as opposed to super delegates. Clinton won 2807 of those pledged delegates as opposed to Sanders with 1894:
Democratic Delegate Count
Once again, just in case you are not a math wizard, 2807 is greater than 1894.
Fact.
I'm not sure how stating easily verifiable facts as I have will diminish Mr. Trump's support here.
What I do know is that you are spouting long-ago debunked Bernie Sanders talking points and accusing others of being a troll.
Fact.

6 of the 7 days of polling are post DNC. Ibthink Trumps lead was 7 at the start, so its a 7 point bounce so far....Trump needs to forget about the gold star muzzies and focus on Hillary and all her high crimes.

Trump is tanking because of his mistakes and massive media coverage of them.According to a lot of what I read here on FR, Trump is gonna beat HRC like the proverbial rented mule. Can all those Freepers be wrong??

Our family has always eaten fried chicken with fork and knife, and we even eat ribs that way. While I know not everybody does this, I never considered it controversial or worthy of news.

The interviewees said thats a stupid way to eat fried chicken.
The interviewees have never eaten it while wearing a $4000 suit.
To: central_va
I don’t he would be either. They would have him painted as a religious fanatic. He was not even close to winning the nomination. Trump has to stay on message and avoid the extra curricular BS.

Trump had a 7 point lead in this poll just before the RAT convention.
