We reported yesterday on Joe Scarborough’s statement that Republicans, conservatives and so-called right-wing bloggers had been contacting him to ask about Donald Trump’s “mental health.” Scarborough himself called Trump “unhinged.”
Joe took things a significant step farther on today’s Morning Joe, saying that Republicans have been contacting him, asking themselves “is Donald Trump a sociopath?” Scarborough was careful to state “I didn’t say this, but this is what everybody is saying.” Scarborough dropped the s-word in the context of hammering Ari Fleischer, former press secretary to President George W., over his lesser-of-two-evils support of Trump.

Even Dennis Prager who doesn’t like trump (but is voting for him) said that the media smells blood and they are going full bore toward knocking him out. It’s obvious what’s going on and it’s maddening to fair minded people.

I heard the “Trump might be dropping out” meme on the radio news this morning. They spent several minutes detailing how the RNC was “reviewing” their rules about what to do if Trump left the campaign and how they’d have to choose a successor. The announcer was careful to say they couldn’t force him out, he’d have to step down on his own, and that he hadn’t given any indication that he was planning to bail, but also said that if the RNC is looking at these rules then there must be a reason.
What was particularly funny was that, after all kinds of rampant speculation about Trump leaving with just 3 months until the General election (why on earth would anyone bail out now, barring some serious illness or other catastrophe), there was a very brief, “oh, by the way” one-sentence item at the end of the news spot that mentioned “three DNC leaders have resigned over the email scandal”, with no elaboration and an immediate cut to commercial.

That’s why the saying, “liberalism is a mental disorder” is so true. Or, in some cases, really getting into leftist politics is like joining a cult. I’ve known a couple of these friends a long time, and the change in them is amazing. They actually talk in talking points. I had a long heated discussion with one friend in 2012 about Obama, and all I got from her was talking points, verbatim, the same stuff I see all over the net.

It’s easier to attack Trump than defend him and that is what our side naturally does. Look at FR and see how many cowards it has who hide it behind concern.
Trump is the first Republican fighter since Reagan who they used these same charges. Fighting back is considered unseemly and crazy while agreeing with their insanity is sane.

Your post is honest and true. And succinct. Well said. Cowardly freepers - you know, the ones who love the idea of their state seceding from the USA, love guns and ammo, and always are wishing for a civil war - are hiding under their beds because Trump made a joke about a baby and accepted a Purple Heart from a sincere vet. Shameful.
