Donald Trump is getting “nuttier and nuttier,” according to those within the tycoon’s presidential campaign, who say they are increasingly frustrated by his outrageous comments and behavior.
The Republican candidate has been engaged in a prolonged war of words with Khizr and Ghazala Khan — whose son, a US Army officer, was killed in Iraq in 2004 — which many inside the presidential campaign see as, at the very least, a total distraction.
“I did not think he’d be great in a general election, and thought there’d be episodes of paranoia/irrationality, but this is surprising for me,” one Trump operative told The Post.
“Trump is getting nuttier and nuttier,” the person added.

Funny how they all said his speech was “dark” at the same time and now they are all questioning his sanity at the same time.

They make it up. "Trump asked Russia to hack US servers," "Trump won't stop talking about Khan," and even "Trump insulted Khan" are all lies - the press knows those accusations are false, and runs with them anyway.
It takes very little creativity to take a fact, and spin it into a false. On top of that, this craft of lie-weaving is one the press is experienced at, so by now it comes naturally.
They can't bloody well report the truth, because the truth cuts against their self-interest and intended outcome.
The Kahn story needs to die today. Trump needs to focus on the Iran hostage deal and dead DEMS all over the place.
....And they are asking for is a REVOLT of folks who have had enough.
