“The big news here is the incumbent was leading by 14% mid July, lost by about the same. A huge swing. The electorate is enraged. Bodes very well for Trump.”
I worry that it means big money can buy a lot of votes. This happens when most voters are poorly informed.
We live in a real world and have to protect freedom, not a theocracy.
Cheer up, he'll vote for Paul Ryan and support anything from Mitch McConnell and applaud Obama's giving Syrian "refugees" protected status!
You are the one who is DISGUSTING; not to mention unChristian.
This is smart. Congressional republicans probably all went into office with conservative credentials, spouting the right words. But, the key is... are they true to principles over time?
I'm still wondering if there were some scandal or something other than his various statements on Trump that would cause him to get so unceremoniously dumped. And a 14 point primary loss for an incumbent is DUMPED.
This is a big deal, and especially if Trump didn't "sic" the voters on him.
Who will you be voting for in November?
Wouldn’t it be great if the good Americans took Ryan by the shirt collar, punched him in the face at the polls, then fired him.
Ryan is less than worthless, he is only serving a few lobbyists and corporate people and security checks.
Prayers up for Nehlen!
No one is spinning anything, clearly, it was too little and too late!
More name calling.
Go take a happy pill and go to bed.

In another statement Wednesday, the campaign touted Huelskamps endorsement by Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts, the chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee.
Huelskamp finds himself at odds with the chamber on a variety of issues. He scored 60 out of 100 on the groups legislative scorecard last year, the lowest of any member of the Kansas delegation and lower than many Democrats. His career score in Congress, 67, is below the minimum the chamber usually requires for an endorsement.
For him to be at 67 percent is far outside of the mainstream, Engstrom said.

Conservatives call it a form of crony capitalism that props up large companies such as Boeing. He was one of 65 Republicans to oppose the FAST Act, the first long-term transportation reauthorization bill in a decade. Republican Reps. Kevin Yoder and Mike Pompeo of Kansas also voted against. Exactly! They like to talk a lot but they do nothing!
For a Republican to be #NeverTrump at this point represents a colossal failure of judgment.
If these people had no objection to McCain or Romney, there’s nothing about Trump that should be a dealbreaker.
I have NO idea IF Trump said anything for him or not. But it’s a GREAT start and I hope this works on Ryan too and McQueeg!
I understand.
I am unaware that Huelskamp tried to bring in theocracy while he was figthing CRAP in DC.
Can you expound?
> I thought conservatives followed the original intent of our Constitution...
They do.
And by their fruits ye shall know them.
Where is the wall?
Illegals flooding in.
Obamacare funded fully by majority republicans!
Food stamps increased.
National debt growing every year.
Military weaker than going back decades.
Taxes as high as ever.
Abortions galore.
Conservatives in congress are all talk and NO RESULTS.
Most are in pockets of their sugar daddies, pushing the cheap labor express.
I am so ready for a patriotic nationalist.
GO TRUMP! Make America Great again!!
He's one of the main reasons John Boehner lost his job!
Boehner's surely laughing his socks off tonight!
He and all the Open Borders gang just got the Trumpsters to take out one of his #1 enemies and they are celebrating shooting themselves in their feet!
Idiots!!!
In as few words as possible, can you define "conservative"? It's a game show question from 1967
