Buffett made a surprise appearance in Omaha alongside Democratic Presidential Nominee Hillary Clinton Monday afternoon. He challenged Trump to release his tax returns, and went on to criticize Trump’s recent comments on the Khan family, who lost their son fighting in Iraq.
After launching his new website – Drive2vote – allowing people to sign up for a ride or provide transportation for others on Election Day, as well as to register to vote, he promised to be a key participant in that endeavor.
Buffett pledged to “take at least 10 people to the polls who otherwise would have had difficulty getting there” on November 8, challenging his congressional district to “give America a civics lesson.”

As far as his railroad is concerned, let me offer a big hint: cheer for the competition.

What would be the monetary value of the campaign contribution he would be giving Hillary? I’m assuming he’s already maxed that out.
There is nothing that this billionaire HAS to do or HAD to be done. It is nothing but disconnected greed coupled with false will to do something substantive. There isn’t anything about that man that has to do with civic responsibility for civilities sake. A decrepit old snake.

I’m a software contractor on the PTC project on a competing railroad, I won’t say which it is, but hoo boy. I had wondered why the railroads were not forming some kind of development consortium. Now I think I know why. If you don’t do it in house, you never know quite what is going to be in it. I don’t think I would want to touch BNSF’s software with a ten mile pole.
Well, I mean in the sense of what appeared necessary to amass the maximum amount of money.
I’m assuming a business schemer like him has already investigated the PAC shill crap where they pretend Hillary doesn’t get any of it directly but we all know that is bullsh!t.

President Trump needs to look at how rail is carrying oil across the country. It is probably time to end rail transport and go with a safer pipeline.

PTC will help a lot, but not totally. It can keep trains from blowing by signals or exceeding speed limits. It can’t detect faulty tracks. Pipelines have their own woes. FWIW, Buffett’s railroad makes a lot more of its profit on oil than the one I work on.
Well he can certainly afford the gas and drivers what with the Billions in taxes he has not paid.
