Trump should do this, Trump should do that, Trump should say this, Trump should say that, Trump should be quiet, Trump should speak out...And on and on.
The past 14 months have been historic, Trump KO'd the lying media and an entire bus full of corrupt professional politicians opponents.
And why do I get the feeling if Trump would have rejected this vet, you'd be complaining or questioning that to? Comments like yours have really become old.
That’s not what he wanted so why question Trump’s actions.
Trump could put the Purple Heart on display and tell the story of the brave soldier who earned it. Let lots of people see it.
Sir:
Your post offends me and my family and the US military. Not because YOU find my statement insulting to Mr. Trump (whom I continue to support for POTUS) but because of your childish suppositions.
My family, on both sides, consists of combat veterans reaching back to WW-II. All have served both ably and admirably for their country.
An award of the Purple Heart is intended for that very soldier/servant, it should not be transferred to someone who does not deserve it. That is the point I was making.
I was merely asking whether this fine soldier was returned his PH medal, since he should be buried with it on his chest. As my recently deceased father-in-law was buried with his
Berlin campaign,
Korea Campaign, and
Vietnam Campaign ribbons
PROUDLY displayed on his chest in his casket. His wife received the US Flag shroud prior to his interment. I know, I was a pall-bearer.
Somewhat respectfully, my father-in-law (25 years in the 101st Airborne, oooo-ahhh) (RIP) would simply be disgusted with your words.
The father of my 3 grandchildren (8 years and going forward in The Big Red 1, ooooo-ahhhh), 2 tours walking next to a tank in Ghanny, would simply be disgusted with your words.
Funny thing is, none of my relatives would ever challenge or berate you. I could go on. You sir don’t owe me an apology. I’ve told you my position. I request from you, nothing.
Maybe you could tell JimRob you are sorry.
I ain’t holding my breath.
Y’all don’t get it.
See my post 24.
Yes, J-effin-K lowered the bar by tossing his(?) field-awards over some fence. That does not diminish the awards for that soldier. But field and combat awards are for service to the country. Individual patriotism is involved.
I’d have to suspect that DJT found this patriot afterwards and returned his award to him. I’d be disappointed if he kept it as a prop or talisman for his campaign. I don’t really think that Trump is of that style.
Too bad, that's your problem. And I have no idea what your wordy, baseless rambling post is about.
I didn’t, really, think you would understand it.
Meh.
Get lost.
The man wasn't giving Trump the medal to *wear*; He was giving Trump the medal as a gesture of his respect and honor for Donald Trump, who has made taking care of neglected veterans a serious and sincere issue he intends to keep.
The man's heartfelt gesture in giving Donald Trump his Purple Heart for whatever reason he chose (as well as Trump's gracious acceptance) frankly, is HIS right, and none of your business.
*I* am offended that Donald Trump -- a man who is giving his all in defeat Hillary Clinton in the name of those who love this Republic -- must endure the pettiness of the MSM, as well this kind of pettiness.
Did you consider that even a man like Donald Trump needs a morale booster and love as he is being assaulted and mugged every day by a vicious liberal public and media?
You’re right of course. If some veteran wants to give a medal to the future leader of America, that’s his choice. Anyone attempting to second guess the veteran or the recipient ought to shut their face flap.
Gladly
Anyone attempting to second guess the veteran or the recipient ought to shut their face flap.
Amen.
