An award of the Purple Heart is intended for that very soldier/servant, it should not be transferred to someone who does not deserve it. That is the point I was making.

The man wasn't giving Trump the medal to *wear*; He was giving Trump the medal as a gesture of his respect and honor for Donald Trump, who has made taking care of neglected veterans a serious and sincere issue he intends to keep.

The man's heartfelt gesture in giving Donald Trump his Purple Heart for whatever reason he chose (as well as Trump's gracious acceptance) frankly, is HIS right, and none of your business.

*I* am offended that Donald Trump -- a man who is giving his all in defeat Hillary Clinton in the name of those who love this Republic -- must endure the pettiness of the MSM, as well this kind of pettiness.

Did you consider that even a man like Donald Trump needs a morale booster and love as he is being assaulted and mugged every day by a vicious liberal public and media?

You’re right of course. If some veteran wants to give a medal to the future leader of America, that’s his choice. Anyone attempting to second guess the veteran or the recipient ought to shut their face flap.
