Khizr Muazzam Khan graduated in Punjab University Law College, as the New York Times confirms. and he specialized in International Trade Law in Saudi Arabia. An interest lawyer for Islamic oil companies Khan wrote a paper, called In Defense of OPEC to defend the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), an intergovernmental oil company consisting of mainly Islamic countries. Khan is a promoter of Islamic Sharia Law. Khan is also co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Issues in Muslim Law (Islamic Sharia).
This site smears Trump with this lead in: https://www.romper.com/p/who-is-khizr-khan-his-message-to-donald-trump-was-powerful-15330
—> The Republican presidential nominee has spewed misguided anti-Muslim, and Islamophobic rhetoric since the day he announced his candidacy for president. He had called for a “shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” and has used fear-mongering tactics to connect terrorism to a “massive Muslim problem.”
In an interview with The Huffington Post, Khan pointed out that building walls (do you hear that Trump?) would not be the solution to eradicating terrorism. He also poignantly noted that military force has not been the solution either.
“Today the global menace is terrorism,” Khan said. “What is the solution? If military is the solution, military would have already done it. Military is not the only solution. To really eradicate terrorism is to join hands, not build walls and exclude each other. That is not a solution. That is adding fuel to the fire.
So his comments on “liberty” and “equal protection under the law” pertain to who, in the context of Muslims?
Till nov. eight!!
This is an old trick from the Democrat playbook. Trot out a grieving parent in front of a camera and use them as political prop to attack their opponents. Meet the new /Islamic Cindy Sheehan.
This article is flawed on 10 different levels.
Military option didn’t work because we didn’t send 2 million men to level SA and other terror sponsoring countries and then re educate.
Bush was too busy getthing money from the Sauds to go on misguided and futile missions.
The war CAN be won and it WILL be won.
And this ####ing fake knows terrorism isn’t the threat, it’s the means, like jets and tanks.
Islam is the threat, and terror is their means as they are too stupid to build any kind of real military.
...let me guess dual citizenship for or both parents?
So Hillary attacked Trump with an Islamic lawyer for Big Oil.
Anyone know...WHO IN THE DNC WAS THE
PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR LETTING THIS
SPEAK?
****
he got a phone call from a Clinton campaign official,
From NY Times

If restrictions on Muslim immigration had been in place decades ago, Mr. Khan said, neither he, a lawyer with an advanced degree from Harvard Law School; his wife, Ghazala, who taught Persian at a Pakistani college before raising three boys in the Washington suburbs;

Mr. Khans odyssey from lawyer and legal consultant to prime-time D.N.C. speaker began in December, when he got a phone call from a writer for Vocativ, an online publication, who wanted his thoughts on Mr. Trumps statements about Muslims.
Mr. Khan criticized Mr. Trumps statements as un-American in an article published by Vocativ. A few weeks later, he got a phone call from a Clinton campaign official, who had seen the article and asked if his comments could be used in a tribute for his son at the convention.
I see this whole Khan fiasco as an attack on an American (Trump) by a bunch of America-hating, racist Muzzies.
I agree it’s flawed. I linked it because it’s from a lefty site, and citing another lefty site where Khan was quoted on his thoughts as to why military intervention doesn’t work, and how we all need to just join hands to eradicate terrorism.
So my question: Why did Khan come here 36 years ago from Pakistan or UAE (depending on source). He said it was to “escape the military” in Pakistan.!
From 2005 article The Washington Post:
https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/khizr-khans-loss-a-grieving-father-of-a-soldier-struggles-to-understand/2016/07/28/18e8139a-552d-11e6-bbf5-957ad17b4385_story.html
It’s a workday, so he finds someplace quiet, an empty conference room on the 13th floor of the office building where he works near the White House. He shuts the door, sits at a big empty table, picks up a pen.
The Khans moved to Charlottesville on the advice of a therapist, who thought being closer to their other two sons at U-Va. would help them. They have started a foundation in Humayun’s name to continue the work he wanted to do counseling soldiers.
Is it it typical to live 2 hours away from where you work?
DC maps as 2+ hours from Charlottesville VA.
Counseling soldiers? Hmmmmmmm, I seem to recall another Muslim whose job was counseling soldiers.
Thanks
Your post was about the distance between his home and work. In the article from 2005 it mentions the long drive. Guess it might be feasible ?

Your #29 —Excellent post! Excellent links. Thank you.
Thanks
That was a great read!
When this incident first happened I saw someone interviewed on tv and they said the first thing they thought of was that Bill Clinton was a draft dodger and that was the irony /hypocrisy of the scenario.
