NFL refutes Trump claim that it sent him a letter bashing debate schedule
Washington Post ^ | July 31, 2016

Donald Trump complained Friday that Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democratic cronies were rigging this fall’s presidential debates by scheduling them alongside NFL games. That claim was easy to disprove — the debate schedule was determined almost a year ago by a private group made up of both Democrats and Republicans.

How does that title make sense when Trump is not accusing the NFL of doing anything wrong?

More Washington Post BS of making up stories. If it was decided over a year ago, why are we jut learning of it now?

If there was a letter, Trump will produce it.

Trump said the NFL sent him a letter and they said they didn’t. Why would Trump lie?

Good point. If he produces the letter, it’s the end of it.

What are they . . . stupid? If it were decided even TWO years ago, do you mean Trump can’t complain now? Just like Laura Ingraham’s “Nazi” salute crap, they just can’t find anything to hang their hat on, can they?

The debate schedule was set up by a committee of Democrats (taking orders from Debbie Wash-my-hair Schultz to advantage Hillary) and of Establishment Republicans (taking orders from the Bush camp AND too stupid to realize they were being played by the Democrats).

Regardless of when the debate schedule was being set up, it was utterly stoopid to do it without regard to the NFL schedule. Since the NFL schedule is not set until early in the current calendar year (after the SuperBowl), intelligent debate planners would decide to set the debate schedule after they learn the NFL schedule.

Ofc they may consider it demeaning to the lofty world of politics to work the debate schedule around the NFL schedule, but it would make sense.

Nope, theres always going to be games on Sunday and Monday, and you can say that years in advance. Just figuring out whom plays whom is made after Superbowl.

You don't need to know the NFL schedule to know that there will be prime-time games on Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights during the football season.

The schedule was set by a group of ‘independent’ democrats and republicans at just about the exact oppositetime that the DNC debates were being scheduled at odd times to avoid any real challenges to Hillary. We have the second half of that theory proven by the email leaks...but it was obvious at the time when they were happening on Saturday evenings and holiday weekends when few are paying attention according a plan to avoid a 2008 challenger from surpassing she who is owed. There is a long game played by the left and this entire cycle was set up to let Hillary limp into the White House rather than face large audiences who will see through the false narrative. That includes these debates this fall. Let the casual voter enjoy the football game and not scrutinize the candidate for what she really is. Undesirable.

Plus the fact that they knew a year ago that Hillary would look bad no matter WHO she was debating. . .even if it was feckless, low-energy Jeb.

Some view all this as Trump grasping for excuses to back out of the debates.

LOL...I almost spewed coffee all over my monitor when I read that...
