Breitbart ^ | July 28, 2016 | Dan Riehl

Posted on 07/30/2016 2:50:23 PM PDT by monkapotamus

Senator Ted Cruz has a very bad future ahead of him. Right now, he’s only viewed favorably by twenty-eight percent of his own party, compared to sixty-eight percent of people who view him extremely unfavorably. If you’re going on the stage to speak, you get behind our nominee. You don’t stay in the bunk below. You get up and you fight...

Cruz will always be able to buy prostitutes and dress
them up like rats and fornicating judges.
Maybe some blowup dolls, too, he can share with the RINOs.

It's encouraging. Voters aren't uninformed any more. They know exactly what happened and despise Cruz.

This is a great talking point for winning over hillary supporters who harbor some doubts. Remind them that the likes of Romney, the Bush Dynasty and Cruz seem to be favoring hillary. It's them (the insiders both parties) against us.

Has Heidi gone back to work for Goldman Sachs?
Anyone seen anything in that regards?

Worries me that a "GOP strategist" has spoken thus.

They are the only ones more stupid and craven than Cruz.

He can always settle for big bucks with Goldman Sachs. National conservative politics???? Not so much.

What a fall from grace. At one time, Cruz was a shining star in the conservative movement. We are hard pressed to find another politician who fell so far so fast. And it was all of his own stubbornness and his delusions of grandeur. Such a shame.

“I think it was a mistake,” Cornyn said in an interview on Fox News Radio’s Kilmeade & Friends.
“You don’t come to the convention after you have lost the nomination and not support the nominee.
I think the right thing to do would be to stay home. So I think it was a mistake and I don’t know
what it means in terms of his future, but I think he miscalculated.”

The thing I don’t get, what did he THINK was going to happen? He should have just stayed home. There was nothing to gain by doing what he did.

It just shows he is somewhat delusional to think he was going to get some kind of magical career lift with that performance.

If Ted has any future in Presidential politics, he’s going to have to do the following...

1. Lots and lots of plastic surgery.
2. Hire a physical trainer.
3. Get a new tailor.
4. Go to a Otolaryncologist and get nasal passage roto-rooted.
5. Find the best voice coach money can buy.
6. Seek out a good dermatologist to help grow some thicker skin.
7. Drop the Preacher schtick.
8. Beg, borrow, steal, rent, buy, or lease a friggin personality!
9. Stab Glenn Beck!

All Cruz would have had to do was say that he and Trump had “personal issues” but that those issues needed to be put to the side for the sake of defeating Hillary in November. He didn’t have to speak adoringly of Trump. He simply needed to be pragmatic.

Instead he proved himself to be a very small man.

Except for #9, these were all concerns I had about Cruz long before Trump ever entered the race.

Since then, he has done things that that won’t be forgotten a mere 4-8 years down the road.

He’s done it all to himself. It’s not “Donalds Fault” Ted showed his @ss.
