So expect when he finishes his run on Senate, if he doesn’t get removed first, to turn RAT....

I for one am delighted that Teddy decided to show his true colors at the convention. The only thing he could do better would be to outright endorse hitlery.
Trump is the issue now, but there will be time in 2018 to primary this toad.

First ones that come to my mind are Gary Hart & Ted Kennedy, either of whom could have been a Rat nominee.
Cruz’s constituency is those who think if a man bangs the Bible, that’s PROOF that he is holy, competent, and honest.
Accurate appraisal. I have been watching conventions since 1956 and attendant to other political speeches as well. He may have thought he knew what he was doing, but he did not. He destroyed his own career in a five minute missed window.

I actually had a front row seat to the Gary Hart self-destruction. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and at a NYC hotel the day the scandal broke. Gary Hart did a press conference literally outside the hotel I was staying at. I remember us looking at the window down at Gary Hart with all the cameras on him and then having CNN on in the room and seeing the same scene on TV. We then went and saw CATS at the Winter Garden that night.
People told us for years what a giant a-hole the guy is. We didn’t believe them because we liked him on issues. Now we know.
He doesn’t need plastic surgery, he needs brain surgery.
Was that where he told the press to go ahead and follow him?
The only reason Heidi had value to them was she was married to a U.S. Senator and could provide Goldman all the connections that brings.
Cruz is now persona non grata and his connections have disappeared.
I expect both Heidi and Cruz will be looking for employment elsewhere.
