Insiders: Hillary's speech was a winner

PHILADELPHIA — Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention helped to ease party insiders’ anxiety after a week in which Donald Trump rode a modest bounce from the GOP convention into a neck-and-neck race with Clinton in the general election.
That’s according to The POLITICO Caucus — a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 11 key battleground states. Three quarters of Democratic insiders said following Clinton’s speech closing the Democratic convention here Thursday night they are “very confident” about her chances of defeating Trump in November.
Trump “will never again be even in this race,” predicted one Iowa Democrat — who, like all respondents, completed the survey anonymously. Added a Nevada Democrat: “I bet she gets a bump [in the polls].”
“Hillary hit a home run tonight,” added a North Carolina Democrat. “It was refreshing to actually hear a candidate discuss what she will actually do as president. The American people heard her load and clear. They will elect her in November.”

THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN’S STATEMENT ON HILLARY’S SPEECH
Hillary Clinton’s speech was an insulting collection of clichés and recycled rhetoric. She spent the evening talking down to the American people she’s looked down on her whole life.
Hillary Clinton talks about unity, about E Pluribus Unum, but her globalist agenda denies American citizens the protections to which they are all entitled – tearing us apart. Her radical amnesty plan will take jobs, resources and benefits from the most vulnerable citizens of the United States and give them to the citizens of other countries. Her refusal to even say the words ‘Radical Islam’, or to mention her disaster in Libya, or her corrupt email scheme, all show how little she cares about the safety of the American people.
It’s a speech delivered from a fantasy universe, not the reality we live in today.
Hillary Clinton says America is stronger together. But in Hillary Clinton’s America, millions of people are left out in the cold. She only stands together with the donors and special interests who’ve bankrolled her entire life. Excluded from Hillary Clinton’s America are the suffering people living in our inner cities, or the victims of open borders and drug cartels, or the people who’ve lost their jobs because of the Clintons’ trade deals, or any hardworking person who doesn’t have enough money to get a seat at Hillary Clinton’s table
The DNC media apparatus sez it was a great speech. Film at 11.
An NBC reporter was just asked if the room was united last night. He said no. There were signs that had Hillary crossed out and replaced with “Liar”. And they wore neon yellow which meant anti-Hillary who had asked people to wear blue.
So they weren’t reported. But they had pictures of people who had cut out the Hillary in the signs. The question is, the loss of the Bernie people who were the young aggressive supporters, will that hurt the campaign ongoing. Will Hillary’s old suffragettes be enough to drag her over the line?
It remains to be seen what Bernie's supporters will do. They seem to be more loyal to Bernie than Bernie was to them. Normally, I don't put much stock in disgruntled 'rat losers (remember the so-called PUMAs?). But after seeing O'Keefe's video as he walked among the Bernie supporters makes me wonder. There was some serious anti-Hillary anger there.
Good question.
As you know, I predict a Hillary victory.
After all, this is the same country that elected Barack Obama twice.
No one has ever gone broke underestimating the gullibility of the American people.
Maybe they really are sick of 8 years of Obama. In October, we’ll know more about the identity of our next President.
U.S. GDP Grew Just 1.2% In Q2, Far Worse Than Expected

The U.S. economy expanded at a 1.2% annual rate in the second quarter, barely improving from Q1’s downwardly revised 0.8% advance, the Commerce Department said Friday. Wall Street had expected a 2.6% pace.

Hitlery and B.O. also did not speak at all about TPP, which Hillary will support and push for when she is elected, although she has lied that she against TPP.

It was a load, alright...
My friend....Hillary Clinton is toast!!! And....not because of her lousy, failed speech of hate, last night. Trump will run her into the ground by campaigning at a fast & furious pace that she can never match. Her campaign rallies will continue to be noted for their light supporter attendence. She will have 500-1,000 folks, while Trump has 5,000-30,000 attendees coming to his rallies.
And...that deadbeat, boring, useless VP (Tim Caine) choice she made. is a full and total zero. Trump/Pence wins in a massive landslide, and destroys a good portion of the current Democrat Establishment Party, along with the badly besten, incompetent, Hillary Clinton!!! Pubbies will own the House Senate & POTUS...and, Trump will get to appoint the Supreme Court Justices!!!
This person will be in a deep depression after Trump wins big in November. I just read another review of her speech, by someone who is not a Dem delegate, and his opinion was it was boring and filled with cliches.
