I have notice a pattern with these young reporter of all different job sites---they have a hard time thinking on their own and that is the reason for the popularity of TWITTER.
Most just repeat news from other news outlets. They all seem to be friends that share news.
We have a good collection of older musicals and light comedies we watch to lighten up at times.........
Well goodness, don't do that. Stepping into their echo chamber would scramble Superman's brain (liberals, having no brain, are immune).
TCM did a series of Ace Drummond, and is coming up on "Gaslight" - coincidental, as that is what Hillary and her fawning press are engaged in full time.
METV has a Sci-Fi Saturday thing, but it starts later in the evening. Hokey old stuff, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Svenghouli does a movie, Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
Good rest! When I need to do a movie marathon, it is completely relaxing. Love old movies from the 30s on a rainy day or when it’s too cold out to do anything else.
Might I suggest for your viewing pleasure:
1. Doris Day & Rock Hudson “Pillow Talk” or “Lover Come Back”
2. Charlie Chan at “Treasure Island” With Sidney Toler and Victor Sen Yung who later become Hop Sing on Bonanza
3. Hildegarde Withers “Murder on a Bridal Path”
4. Bob Hope and Paulett Goddard in “Ghost Breakers” or “The Cat and the Canary” both super funny and the chemistry between Goddard and Hope is wonderful.
Well NIKK there you have a day filled with joy and If that doesn’t do it for you, life is beyond repair. :) (LOL)
Oh how I agree with you. I just spoke with my son and told him I’m staying away from all news for a few days. It is so annoying to see the lack of journalistic integrity by any of the news sources, be it print, radio, or television. The old adage of “repeat a lie often enough people will start to believe it”...is alive and well.
Fortunately, there is a decent golf tournament on the television.... My husband will be happy watching that. Even with his dementia he knows Hillary is bad, bad, bad!
When I’m blue, I love watching old Clark Gable, like Teacher’s Pet or The Hucksters.
