Complete Headline: Chelsea Clinton introduces her 'wonderful, kind, thoughtful, hilarious mother' as she humanizes Hillary before the Democratic nominee takes the stage
- Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton introduced her mother at tonight's Democratic National Convention
- Chelsea told personal stories from her youth and portrayed her mother as a doting grandmother to young Charlotte and Aidan
- Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic nomination tonight in Philadelphia becoming the first woman to do so from a major American political party
Former and possibly future first daughter Chelsea Clinton told childhood tales in an effort to humanize the Democratic nominee who would soon come onstage at tonight's Democratic National Convention her mother, Hillary Clinton.
She portrayed the former secretary of state as a doting grandma, who will drop everything 'for a few minutes of blowing kisses and reading "Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo" with her granddaughter.'
She spoke of childhood games with the former first lady, as they made up stories about what would happen if they ever met a triceratops. 'In my opinion the friendliest dinosaur,' Chelsea said. 'Though my mom would remind me that, friendly or not, it's still a dinosaur.'
'As you can probably tell, I was obsessed with dinosaurs,' the only Clinton daughter said to laughs.
'Everyday I spend as Charlotte and Aidan's mother, I think about my own mother - my wonderful, kind, thoughtful hilarious mother,' she said, attaching qualities to the Democratic candidate the Republicans would argue their opponent lacked.

Imagine 4-8 years of that. And zero accountability or check and balance.

definitely not. She is looking hefty these days. Pretty soon she’ll be wearing the pantsuits. Is she pregnant again?

Hillary is as funny as pneumonia.

What’s up with all of the “Hillary is funny” BS? I’ve been hearing this all day long on the radio. I don’t think she’s funny.

She portrayed the former secretary of state as a doting grandma Well, that sounds like a much better job for the Hildebeest than POTUS. Let's hope Mr. Trump can finish the deal.

Using a patented FR expression—Hillary’s MiniMe was asked to perform the difficult task of ... polishing a terd.
And she was simple enough to think she could swing it. Neither end is safe to use as a handle. Glitter will not hide it.
It is impossible to humanize Hillary; the closest thing I can think to it would be training Arnold Ziffle to play McBeth.

Hmmm... seems like the campaign is in trouble when their candidate is not seen as Democrats seem to be aliens from space anyway.
