Look for the Secret Service keeping a very, very, very close eye on him. He is not going to any place, period.
Intended to send a message—open season for would-be assassins of Republicans. It’s signaling, nothing more or less.
Interesting that James Brady’s death in 2014 was ruled homicide. For that reason alone, Hinckley should remain incarcerated.
But even Brady thought it was the gun that was responsible, not Hinkckley.
So, there’s that.

It's not at all unusual to have attempted murder treated more leniently than actual murder.
Perhaps...but I don’t want to see either of these nuts out on the street.
