Whoever is advising Paul Ryan-if anyone--needs to explain to him that no one is waiting with baited breath to hear his weekly--or almost daily--comment adverse to the Conservative candidate's approach to the election. Ryan is revealing aspects of his character & judgment, which will haunt him in the future, in a great many ways.

As for Donald Trump's reported comment? Why would any American object to our asking the Russian President to release information about American political figures, which Russia may have and Americans do not? Whether Putin is a statesman or something else, has nothing to do with the point. (Personally, I think that Putin is a Russian patriot. I will admit that he "plays harder ball than most American politicians." No one is suggesting that he intervene in our election; only that he share any knowledge that he has that is relevant to American understanding.)

You would think a man in his position would be well above average intelligence and have a good deal of political savvy. Every time he opens his mouth he gives Paul Nehlen a new political ad. Perhaps he is so confident that he doesn’t care. I hope he is wrong. Scott from the Left Coast, “I trust the Russians far, far more than I trust the U.S. government.” You are not alone. The world has gone insane. If twenty years ago I was told I would agree with this I would not have believed it.
