I hope they didn’t get stupid and build annex that didn’t match the original. That’s a beautiful building.
Hmmmm, wonder if the people who first started moving to the south part of the county ended up being disappointed. It happens often. People want to move to the country to get away from crowds, then others follow suit and before ya know, it’s crowded.
I no longer go down to South Walton but my Daughter who lives in Oklahoma rented a condo right on the beach a couple of years ago. I spent the week with them there.
I could not believe how crowded and expensive the area is now. They filmed “The Truman Show” down there in South Walton.
I worked at LaFountains Wharf in Destin while I was in high school. It was a sleepy little fishing village. Now a major resort.
