Like thats fun??? LOL! Hey, good question! I would say not so much fun, as rewarding, which it definitely is. Of course the shower can be seen as part of the reward, but really it's all part of the package.
In the last few days we had this extreme high 90's heat, but we had had rain, and the lawn was growing, so I was looking for the window to mow it. Sunday we had some afternoon rain, so no go, but then Monday lined up OK, so I got it done, had my shower ... King of the World, you know? That's all I need.

That is the whitest sand I’ve ever seen!
Mine that were in the war were Confederates, too. I had one great-great that fought in the war of 1812 for N. Carolina.

Yay for the poor beans!
We have mail-in voting ballots that I'm working on this week.
We have an outstanding Republican candidate for Governor. I hope this Blue state is tired of the incompetence and treachery our current Dem Governor has delivered. But I'm not too hopeful.
I'm just happy to live in the sensible, Red part of the state.

Most of Walton County was settled by Highland Scots who landed in North Carolina and Virginia but came to Florida almost immediately.

They don’t call them the sugar sands for nothin’.
When we’d visit Dad at Ft. Walton Beach, the gal who took care of our cats would ask us to bring some back for her. She makes cute ornaments with little glass jars filled with the sand and tiny colorful beads and things.

That’s what it looks like! I’ve been to Panama City, but don’t remember the sand being that gorgeous. Of course, I was younger then and didn’t notice things like I do now. LOL!

I was shocked that it’s still raining! Nice and steady. I had left my car out for a bath and had to go put it in the garage for the night. :)

The sand in Pensacola is sugar white and the waves glow green at night when they crash on the beach.
Amazing
