Bernie Sanders started a political revolution. Now he can’t stop it.
The Washington Post ^ | July 25, 2016 | Chris Cillizza

To be clear, not every Sanders supporter feels that way. In fact, the vast majority of them tell pollsters they plan to vote for Clinton this fall. But there is without doubt a vocal group here in Philadelphia unwilling to roll over and play nice with the presumptive nominee — no matter what Sanders says they should do.

That is an issue for Clinton — and for Sanders. A vocal minority in the context of, say, Sanders's speech to the convention tonight could be a major problem for party strategists doing everything they can to present a united front. Anything similar to what happened this afternoon — booing when Sanders mentions the need to support Clinton — would be a major embarrassment for the former secretary of state just days before she is set to formally take the reins of the national party.

The scariest thing if you are a member of the Democratic establishment? Not even Bernie Sanders seems to be able to control these people. The revolution is still happening for them, and no one can convince them otherwise.

Ron Paul as President would give me some headaches.

But even his mistakes would have been better for the country than anything Obama has done.

The REASON they supported Bernie was that they were fed up with the corruption of the party Establishment, just like Republicans voted for Trump because they thought the GOPE was corrupt.

Hey, only shadows can make Clinton look presentable. Barely. Complete darkness would have been best. With a bag. And more bags for the audience, in case her’s fell off.

one of the things not talked about is how many of Bernie supporter were those that had no opinion on his socialism but could not vote for Hillary because she is a criminal and they know it. at the same time they are partisan and would not vote republican unless they felt betrayed by the party.

Both parties need to be fractured...

I think they have been.

Imagine without the internet and hackings, what would not have seen the light of day, what the result would be. Protecting internet freedom is critically important now.

We got rid of the GOP establishment, now they can get rid of the Democrat establishment.

Not yet, the cancer of globalism still exists.
There are still many traitorous globalists wearing (R) next to their name — don't fall into D vs R thinking, think instead of Elites vs Americans and a LOT of things become a lot clearer.

Agreed: ...don't fall into D vs R thinking, think instead of Elites vs Americans..

Good way to think!  The D vs. R filter is confusing and obscures the real issues.   So does Convervative vs. Liberal.  Cruz more or less tried to label the 80% of FReepers who wanted Trump as non-Conservative.
