VANITY (cuz me)—Say Clinton is Forced Out... How Does that Change the Forecast?

Posted on 07/25/2016 12:03:09 PM PDT by John Robinson

Conversation. It isn't likely to happen regardless of how toxic Clinton has become nor will continue to become, so consider it an idle musing. To what effect would various scenarios play out on the electorate, e.g. elevating Kaine to the top of the ticket, swapping in Bernie, etc. Would that messaging irreparably damage the 2016 Dem presidential ticket, and to what effect will any of this have on the downstream Dem picks?

I'm guessing there is a tinge of Barry Goldwater here, and with that, would future progressive tickets ultimately be empowered by a landslide loss in 2016?

I believe that it does not matter who the Democrat candidate is or when any replacement candidate is substituted for Mrs Bill, even up to the day before the election. The official outcome probably depends on Democrats’ calculation of the aftermath of a stolen election whether they steal it or not.

She ain’t going down without taking everyone with her.

So she getting forced out really doesn’t have that much of an impact on the outcome of the race, which I consider predetermined at this point to be a landslide Trump victory, with minor parties also pulling numbers at historical highs.

There is a very real chance that the Democratic Party could come in 3rd, or even 4th in this race, regardless of the disposition of the Cackling Cankles.

I just had a horrible thought. Bill Clinton passes away and Hillary gets the sympathy vote, or Hillary passes away and Biden steps in like LBJ . . .

Hope for Bill’s sake he has a taster on staff. Ah, who am I kidding, I won’t shed a tear if Bill gets Fostered, but that scenario is terrifying and Hillary may consider it payback for Bill’s humiliating infidelity. Thanks for the nightmare, bud.

Suspend her campaign? She’d unplug his life support.

Hold it until after she’s nominated, then destroy her?

I think if they pull a Torricelli, it so erodes confidence in the Democrat leadership that the independents, undecideds will go Trump and the Dem base will be demoralized and in disarray.

People want to know that their leadership has their act together and the DNC would just show to the world that they are a laughable circus.

And Trump would capitalize on it: “How can they expect to run a country if they can’t even run a convention”.

It would probable benefit us down ticket as well.

Mine's kat, not cat.
(long boring story, but nothing to do with four-legged felines)

As for Wiki/DNC, every day of leaks is just more toothpaste out of the tube.

Even if the leaks stopped tomorrow, enough hints have been dropped to point some bright young things from our side in the right investigative direction, with/without JA's help.

If he's angling for a pardon out of all this, gotta give the guy credit for cojones.

First, can you name a Democrat man or women who has enough courage to tell Hillary she has to drop out?

Hillary Rodham has lived her entire life counting on the
day when she would be elevated to the Grand Throne in life
the she “deserves”. Bill’s coattails were her vehicle; but
he almost “blew it” for her with all the “Vast Right Wing
Conspiracy” stuff and that “damned” DNA test that revealed
Bill with his hand in the cookie jar. Then, when the good
ol’ boy Senate refused to stand with the House of
Representatives and REMOVE his ASS from the Oval Office
chair; she could hardly believe her luck! Once again,
GOSH had not let her down and all her enemies could just
go to HECK!!!

I’m guessing Bernie would pick his own VP - a black woman is my guess.

I agree, never Warren or Sanders; I posit Biden, with a hefty boost from Obama.

ELIZABETH WARREN running for president has about as much substance as Sally Fields testifying before Congress about a farm bill because she had played a farm wife in a movie.

Are the Democrats really THAT dumb?

(don’t bother with the answer - we all know it is “YES!”)
