Even as the GOP establishment drifts ever leftward, mutating into a progressive monstrosity nearly indistinguishable from its DNC Capital Club drinking buddies, a group of conservative delegates has crafted whats being called the most conservative Republican Platform in history.
By the grace of God, this platform was adopted in toto this past week at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Now, to unify the Republican Party and admit into triage an America on the precipice of total collapse (and to put us on the road to recovery), nominee Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress should immediately pledge to implement every plank of the platform over the next four-to-eight years, reversing that which may already be irreversible the fundamental transformation of America (read: the intentional and treasonous sabotage of this once great nation) at the hands of Barack Obama, Americas executive enemy within.
If Mr. Trump will make a very public guarantee that, if elected, he will work tirelessly to implement the 2016 GOP platform, such pledge, followed by subsequent overt acts, would go a long way toward winning over his many remaining conservative naysayers. Who knows? Even National Review might hold its nose and hop the Trump Train.
America cant afford this platform to be ignored as simply a wish list of soaring platitudes intended to placate the conservative base of the GOP. It must be adopted and implemented as the blueprint for Americas future.
While in no way comprehensive, here are key platform planks. Headings are my own:
San Francisco-style social engineering vs. national defense
We believe that our nation is most secure when the president and the administration prioritize readiness, recruitment, and retention, rather than using the military to advance a social or political agenda. Military readiness must not be sacrificed on the altar of politically correct social agendas, which this administration has done.
Obamas repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell and his housing of men in miniskirts (transgender) in the ladies barracks has done more to destroy troop morale and unit cohesion than any other weakening of our U.S. military. Homosexual rapes are now at an all-time high as a result.
Obama has also launched a wholesale attack on Christianity in the ranks of the armed services. This must be stopped.
Right to freedom of health care conscience
We likewise support the right of parents to consent to medical treatment for their children, including mental health treatment, drug treatment, and treatment involving pregnancy, contraceptives and abortion. We urge enactment of pending legislation that would require parental consent to transport girls across state lines for abortions.
This would also secure the right of children who have been sexually abused to seek necessary therapy from a licensed therapist to address the root cause of unwanted same-sex attractions that often result.
Authentic marriage
The American family is the foundation of civil society and the cornerstone is marriage, the union of one man and one woman. … we do not accept the Supreme Courts redefinition of marriage and we urge its reversal, whether through judicial reconsideration or a constitutional amendment returning control over marriage to the States.
Christians are under attack due to this absurd SCOTUS opinion. It has pitted government against the free exercise of religion and will result in millions of motherless and fatherless children. Until this plank is implemented, civil disobedience is the only option.
Socialized medicine
Any honest agenda for improving health care must start with repeal of the dishonestly named Affordable Care Act of 2010: Obamacare. It weighs like the dead hand of the past upon American medicine.
Obamacare was designed to fail and usher in socialized medicine. Its a disaster and must be repealed and replaced posthaste.
Right to not be murdered
The Constitutions guarantee that no one can be deprived of life, liberty or property deliberately echoes the Declaration of Independences proclamation that all are endowed by their Creator with the inalienable right to life. Accordingly, we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendments protections apply to children before birth. We oppose the use of public funds to perform or promote abortion or to fund organizations, like Planned Parenthood.
Gender pretenders and Title IX
We emphatically support the original, authentic meaning of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. It affirmed that no person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance. That language opened up for girls and women a world of opportunities that had too often been denied to them. That same provision of law is now being used by bureaucrats and by the current president of the United States to impose a social and cultural revolution upon the American people by wrongly redefining sex discrimination to include sexual orientation, or other categories. The agenda has nothing to do with individual rights; it has everything to do with power. They are determined to reshape our schools or entire society to fit the mold of an ideology alien to Americas history and traditions. Their edict to the States concerning restrooms, locker rooms and other facilities is at once illegal, dangerous, and ignores privacy issues. We salute the several States which have filed suit against it.
Judicial tyranny
The rule of law is the foundation of our Republic. A critical threat to our countrys constitutional order is an activist judiciary that usurps powers properly reserved to the people through other branches of government. … We believe in the constitutional checks and balances and that the Founders intended the judiciary to be the weakest branch. We encourage Congress to use the check of impeachment (emphasis mine) for judges who unconstitutionally usurp Article I powers. In tandem with a Republican Senate, a new Republican president will restore to the Court a strong conservative majority that will follow the text and original meaning of the Constitution and our laws. … Judicial activism that includes reliance on foreign law or unratified treaties undermines American sovereignty. …
Im proud to say that this plank was drafted by my sister-in-law, RNC committeewoman and delegate Cynthia Dunbar. Judicial activism has led to judicial tyranny. A living, breathing constitution is no constitution at all. Its time to impeach all progressive judges and justices who abuse the sacred authority given them to legislate from the bench and impose a radical ideology on the American people that resembles nothing our Founding Fathers could have imagined.
As someone who remains a vocal critic of Donald Trump, yet recently moved from Never Trump to Maybe Trump, I can say with certainty that a promise to implement the 2016 Republican Party platform in its entirety will win over many conservatives. Hillary Clinton simply must not take the Oval Office. God willing, and with a GOP Congress in toe, Mr. Trump might then become the leader many hope he will by governing with the GOP platform as his executive guidepost.
I think the word “must” should be banned. It started with Clinton and he used it quite excessively to state that this or that directive MUST be worked on, strived for, placed above A, B, and C in our hierarchy of wants and it is YOUR JOB to drop what you are doing and make....Palestinian peace (for example) your first directive. >>YOU<< don’t mean s**t, >>OUR<< priorites must be to ....provide healthcare for children. You and your family, hey, those are sacrifical items for the greater good; and only *I* have the wisdom to 1: Imagine or discern, 2: state, 3: propose 4: fight against the dirty Republicans for.
Now it is used in a shotgun fashion to invoke the image of the liberal Democrat party the only ones who can take on the task of “healthcare for all”, or “a good education for all children”.
Obama likes to introduce his “must” directives with “no longer can we...” or “For too long we have ....” and couch the “your crappy lives don’t matter compared to my grand ideals” rap with “That’s not the kind of people we are”. Skilled oratory, flaming bulls**t.
It’s a “claim” word. Frankly, it’s a cheap piece of bulls**t. All a liberal has to do is to say he/she (and only he/she) understands the needs of children and thus he/she is uniquely empowered and enlightened and will fight for legislation that will address what we MUST do for the children. Never mind that in such legislation will be ever-growing tribute to teachers unions and bathroom directives and a little bit of grift (in the footnotes) that have no real function other than the grease the current system and buy votes with taxpayer money. This is their “fight”. They are so very brave, fighting the evil Republicans who object to spending more than already record-smashing amounts pent per pupil in most of our failing schools.
Like so many other words liberals have perverted, “must” has been literally shat on.
What “must” occur with Top Secret materials?
How about: keeping them secret? Oh no, that’s so passe. Anybody can read them, so long as they have an interest, you know. So long as the one who leaks said materials didn’t really have the mens rea to spread them far and wide or to sell them...and the only evidence required of them not wanting to sell them should be the absence of a receipt, right? No receipt, no sale, right?
“Must” has to be reserved for irrefutable top-level concerns. We MUST gear up and take the threat from worldwide Islam far more seriously-—starting with the pervasive invasion of cockroaches currently serving in the top levels of the US security agencies.
I’ll bet real money that the creator’s of this document aren’t conservatives, plus Bush didn’t.
Excellent
Thanks for the heads up. I'd hate to damage my TV

Will the “never trumpers” ever go away?
No other nominee ever has made this pledge.
Why should Trump be held to a higher standard than previous nominees?
Show me where Ford, Reagan, Bush, Dole, Bush, McCain, or Romney were held to this standard; show me their pledge.
Why?
Pledged don’t seem to mean much with Republicans, especially as exhibited by some recent Republican candidates and their pledges to support the Republican nominee.
Party platforms have meant very litte for decades. They are little more than sound-good-isms to placate various factions.
I just watched the thing gavel to gavel on CSPAN and was left wondering Friday morning...”ok...where and what is the Republican Platform?”
Just don’t pay any attention to them. I registered in 1979 for the Republican Party and have always voted for the Republican nominee in the general election and will do so as long as I live. That is why I don’t let anyone tell me who to vote for, or not to vote for. I also don’t listen to or watch political TV ads
You think? LOL now that is hilarious
“Why? The Booshes didnt!”
My first thought too. The party has NO RIGHT to hold Trump to a higher standard than it has held the people it liked...which is NO STANDARD.
Don’t get me wrong, though - I like the platform, but I also won’t hold it against Trump if he treats it no better than the Booshes (LOL) did.
That you for your excellent insight and reply.
An old political tradition is to ignore the platform... both parties do it.
At this point in time the purpose of the party platform is to pander to interest groups and to give people who have either done good work or contributed money but have no real relevance to the process feel as though they are contributing something important.
The fact that the "Never Trumpers" are appealing to the party platform just demonstrates how out of touch and irrelevant they are.

Smells like Ted Clinton.
Hey Kaslin you ever post anything positive towards the Republican candidate Donald Trump that will unify us to win against satan’s beast Hillary Clinton?
F U and your pledges!
Why is Trump the only one expected to pledge anything and actually stick to it?
What is the GOP platform?
What I’ve witnessed in recent years regarding borders and security and going along with whatever Obola wants tells me that GOP ideas should be jettisoned immediately.
The GOP platform nowadays is simply maintain the status quo so they can continue to line their pockets at our expense.
The politicians who are supposed to represent us are genociding us in their never ending quest for riches.
We have seen that the GOP stands for nothing. It has no principles.
Ted Cruz is the GOP posterboy.
I don’t care if Trump destroys the GOP.
It needs destroying.
Maybe a new and improved party can rise from the ashes.
The same people who are telling Trump what he must do
are the same ones who will be telling him what he
CAN’T DO if he’s elected.
Probably the same ones that required him to sign their
pledge which they then ignored when push came to shove.
Pledges lost all meaning when 3/4 of the candidates refused to honor theirs and where not penalized for them.
Cruz partisans demanding that Trump make a pledge to them and keep it? File this one under Ironical Humor.
