The release of Democratic National Committee emails by WikiLeaks Friday reveals that DNC officials planned anti-Donald Trump protests.
In multiple emails DNC officials sign off and acknowledge the existence of two anti-Donald Trump protests in South Bend, IN. and Billings, MT. The release of nearly 20,000 emails is the first in a WikiLeaks “Hillary Leaks” series.
On April 29, a DNC press staffer, Rachel Palermo, alerted Eric Walker, deputy communications director, about a Facebook page for an anti-Trump protest on May 2 in South Bend. “Whoo! Thanks to our interns for finding this out.” Walker replies, “I like it, as long as the students feel safe getting involved. I imagine this demo will be nicer than the one in San Fran today.”
That day in San Francisco protesters blocked off roads to an event Donald Trump was hosting. The Republican nominee ended up having jump down from the highway and to sneak around back to enter.
In another other email chain also on April 29, titled “Week-Ahead Notes & Assignments,” former DNC media booker Pablo Manriquez comments “this should be fun” in reference to the May protest.
University of Notre Dame, located in South Bend, is Manriquez’s alma mater, and a DNC official wrote, “Pablo please reach out to any folks you think may be able to help.”
Another protest is directly mentioned in emails, including one that occurred on May 26 in Billings, Mont. The email is from May 20 and features notes on the “week ahead.”
Intern involvement with protests is mentioned twice in the leaked emails. DNC communications director Luis Miranda bemoaned photos of an empty anti-Trump protest in Washington, D.C. in one email chain.
Miranda said: “Going forward, when our allies screw up and don’t deliver bodies in time, we either send all our interns out there or we stay away from it.. we don’t want to own a bad picture.”
Miranda was notified of the protests in an email by another DNC email chain titled “Tv coverage of protest great.” The original email notified the DNC communications director of the Indiana protest, and a DNC staffer wrote, “thanks to our interns for finding this out.”
DNC officials Brad Marshall, a chief financial officer, and Alan Reed, a compliance officer, also signed off on the use of Black Lives Matter organizer Deray Mckesson as a surrogate for Hillary Clinton.
Mckesson rose to prominence after being active in protests in Ferguson, MO. and Baltimore, MD. He has has yet to endorse a candidate and said protests are likely to happen at the upcoming Democratic Party convention.
What a fraud Cuccinelli has turned out to be. No wonder so many of his organization's choices have been disappointments.
Full disclosure: This is pure speculation on my part, but that Cruz speech at the RNC felt a real lot like a coup attempt. If chaos had descended, it would've provided an opportunity to change the outcome.

Is that from the flight he took on AF1 to the funeral in Dallas? There is a woman in front of him who I can’t identify. In the other picture she is identified as Hillary but I believe this is the actual woman and not Hillary as someone previously posted.

Perhaps so, but given Cruz’s recent behavior, he’s going to have a very difficult time getting anyone here to give him the benefit of the doubt.
None of these leaked emails nor the aggregate will have any significance unless (ha!) unless they are published and decried in the MSM. Everybody might know of them and believe they are real but if the dwindling MSM does not bless them then they will be ignored or thought of as just static.
That email from Ted’s campaign was from the DNC’s opposition research.
Those are the same emails I got.
No, that was a normal campaign email from the Cruz campaign that every one time Cruz supporter got, as well.

It’s standard campaign rhetoric from a mass-emailed donation request.
Don't know about ‘sinister’, but even the fact that they were sending fundraising emails like this, implying (although not specifying) an effort to bully their delegates by the Trump campaign is dirty as usual politics used against a fellow Republican candidate.

Cruz is NOT a “secret Democrat”, for crying out loud.
He’s just another politician who lost an election - THE election of his lifetime - and is overly pissed about it.

Cruz is Uniparty all the way. He burned his bridges with so many people in this party. He may be re-elected to the Senate, but his presidential chances are finished!
