Hillary Clinton on Friday evening said she surprisingly agrees with one of her political rivals: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
"I mean something has gone terribly wrong when one speaker says vote your conscience and then gets booed," Clinton said at a rally in Tampa.
"I never thought Id say these words, but Ted Cruz was right," the presumptive Democratic nominee added. "In this election, do the right thing, vote your conscience, vote for your future, vote for the United States of America."
Cruz, a former GOP candidate, was booed off the stage Wednesday night after declining to endorse GOP nominee Donald Trump during his speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, telling Republicans to "vote their conscience" this election.
He could have handled it with more aplomb, such as “well if this happened, and I don’t know if this is a doctored photo, it was wrong — but that’s apparently before my father came to the Lord as well and Christ came to make all things new.”
I wonder if she, too, might make a “religious relations” group and put Cruz on it, knowing that he would be a lapdog to her and not seriously give her headaches about “liberal” misuse of Christianity.
That is rich from Hillary, especially if the rumor turns to fact that the Clinton Foundation gave Cruz $2 million during that ride on AF-1.
I do not recall ANY other Republican being offered or given a ride on AF-1 to Dallas.
It was suspicious news first broke. It is more suspicious now, in light of recent events.
Which flubbed in the face of realpolitik.
Trump is something more than half-a-loaf to conservatives now, and might benefit from some urging to improve upon that, but not from a pissy little self centered rival game.
I watched this several times on my 27 inch monitor and what the video looked like was hillary’s eyes coming our of their sockets. Or something worse.

Nothing would surprise me now about either one of them.
The fact that he didn’t handle it with aplomb lends credence to it IMO.
Creepy Cruz and Hitlery Rotten Criminal have something in common.
They both hate Trump, and they both are self-absorbed, self-centered a$$holes.
Cruzhole and hillarhoids love each other long time!
So you’re saying an email by Cruz was forwarded to the DNC not Cruze emailing the DNC? So Cruz wrote an email saying he needed money and someone emailed it to the DNC.
I’m looking at the spiritual side. Whoever hasn’t made some terrible mistake, please stand up [everybody sits].
But what does it mean NOW? This isn’t a question of what difference does it make, as Hillary might say. We know sins make a difference and incur trouble. It’s a question of what the Lord can make of it. And Cruz ought to be right smack dab on the ball about that, if he knows as much about Christ as he makes out to do. “We both learned a lesson” would show Cruz to be a mensch.
Yes, that’s what it looked like.
When things got rough in the primaries, he got coddling from several major establishment types.
Now that he lost the nomination, he is getting the coddling from Clinton?
That would make him about as shallow as 90% of the other politicians in DC.
Check out the facial expression of that man in the doorway. He does not like what he is looking at.
Trump needs to run ads with “vote your conscience” and show what American will look like when over run by illegals and Muslims, and no 2nd Amendment to protect ourselves. End the ad asking how their conscience would feel if that happened.
cuccinelli said he had to escort ted’s batsh*t crazy wife out of the hall because she was in danger. so, that guy belongs on the list of newly dead politicians, too.
Lol! Cruz looks so happy as a traitor. Oh really he does.
Okay, makes sense. So I take it Cruz knew nothing about it?
