If you live in Russia, you may already be worried about what youre eating. If youre not worried, maybe you should be.
Watchdogs say dairy producers routinely added starch, chalk and soap to their milk. One-fifth of caviar brands contained bacteria linked to E. coli. Bread bakers were discovered to use fifth-grade wheat, the sort usually intended for cattle. More than half the sliced salmon on shop shelves has been judged unsafe.
And those are only the most recent revelations.
Quality control in Russias food sector appears to have broken down. Products are plentiful. But behind the glossy labels, their true contents are a lottery.
How did things get so bad?

And then there is China’s food problems what with nuts and bolts in bread etc.
In Russia, cheese eat you!
I once got a Chinese dinner from my local that literally contained nuts and bolts.
Soon found another Chinese.
They are really none to clean or ready to get with American quality control.
Dont forget melamine in lots of things.
Hah, Maybe we should be sending all those do-gooder Progressives to Russia and China so they can change the methods of food manufacture and processing. Know what, I have the perfect candidate for the job. Michelle Obama...
Meow Stew .....mmmmm.
In America, you fart out cheese. In Russia, cheese farts you out!
While it’s not quite that bad, our own food has been on a downward spiral for years. A lot of what passes for hamburger certainly doesn’t look or smell like it on a grill anymore. Meat in general has gotten a little odd in my opinion, unless you’re buying it straight from a butcher shop.
They were concerned with your daily iron intake?
I have as a waste basket, a cardboard drum that says
“Daily Flavor Monosodium Glutamate 99.9% pure.100 lbs.”
I picked it up from the back of a Chinese resturant
that assured me they didn’t use MSG...
I did NOT ask about the chicken.
I’ve seen pictures of some of their mainstream manufactured foods, worms in soda, sawdust in bread. Their whole food industry would have to be bulldozed and rebuilt to hygienic standards.
Killed a lot of dogs in the US. Always check the source of pet food, a lot comes from China. They may come in through the back door to some pet food companies so you really have to look at the prime source.
“In Russia what you eat watch you!”
Food prep going down faster and faster. . .have you noticed how restaurant/fast food kitchens are stuffed full with illegal aliens, you know, the illegal aliens that don’t practice proper personal hygiene, wash their hands and don’t have immunization?
My mom likes to shop at Dollar Tree. I read the labels of some stuff she bought. Food from China, India, and Egypt to name a few.
Ah yes communism gives government control a whole new meaning. It is cat and mouse. The government is too restrictive so producers find ways around it
And they say Capitalism stinks...
It’s the same right here in America with saw dust in the parm cheese.
If you look at the waistlines of Americans, we have our problems too. Highly processed carbohydrates and a diet loaded with sugar. Who are we kidding?
