The Never Trump campaign met its end this week when Donald Trump accepted the GOP nomination for president at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. But one of the movements most prominent leaders, delegate Kendal Unruh of Colorado, said shed do it all again.

I don't care about the losers that the GOP has nominated since 1988. I care about the here and now. I am voting straight Republican ticket to give Trump a Republican-controlled Congress now that Trump is our nominee.
Bloomberg did this when it became clear he wouldn't win in the Dem primaries. However, Trump was a Republican candidate from the outset. He didn't change in mid-stream.
Her 15 minutes are up, except on NPR/CO.
You got that right.
You win this time Dahnald. See you in four years
Poor Unruh. She’s the ultimate insider in the Colorado GOP, and now her cushy place in “her” party, the party of the rich, elite insider plutocrats and oligarchs has been “hijacked” by gauche, everyday working-man Jacksonian types.
“Colorado needs to abandon their caucus system and let all the people vote in primaries.”
Indeed. Our legislature tried to do this this last session with strong bipartisan support, but a small group of reactionary Pubs blocked it, so it’s likely to wind up the state ballot.
In second there I thought she was a man
Could not agree more. She needs to join the democrat party along with that girlie man, Cory Gardner. We need to dump him asap.
She makes Caitlyn Jenner look attractive.
These New York City billionaires are all the same -- largely disinterested in political affiliations until they have to adopt a party to run for office.
If she wants super delegate status, then she should stop pretending to be a republican and join the democrap party (which BTW is non-democratic).
So, her whole state cheated enough to get EVERY delegate for defeaTED Cruz, without the complication of having an actual election. She was fine with that. But then, giving Trump the delegates that he won, instead of them just going rogue, and stealing the voters rights away...well, that’s just undemocratic? What a disgusting little wretch.
I have not said anything about which candidates I would be supporting at lower elected offices.
I am not a Republican.
She may be setting her seat for the coming:
Bush,Mclame,Kasich,Cruz — resurgence?
remember these people are allies of the demon party,
have Hundreds of millions$$ at their disposal-
don’t know for sure-
But these “moderate “ repugs were bitch slapped this
election-
NOW ON TO ... DEFEAT OF HITLERLy!
IF Almighty God had wanted Cruz to be President of the
United States, NO ONE could have stopped him.
IF Almighty God wants Donald J. Trump to be elected
President of the United States, NO ONE can stop him!
(NO human being on the face of this earth is up to the
challenge of governing any part of it. - That job is for
Messiah when he returns in glory. - However, until He
does, we have to ask for help from His sanctuary and
recognize any human help He sends us!)
Total perfection is not to be found in this mortal coil!
Get OFF that WHIPPING POST, Alberta and join the fun!;O)
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
In fact, since one of the very few powers that the states have delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, to regulate an aspect of domestic policy is to manage the US Mail Service (1.8.7), the key question concerning the political parties is the following.
How many political parties does it take to run the US Mail Service?
I say none.
The states need to amend the Constitution to expressly prohibit political party support of federal politicians.
On the other hand, if the states want to shoot their feet off with political parties then thats fine; let social Darwinism trump state sovereignty. We can always remove a star from the flag for each state that implodes.
