Shots have been fired in a Munich shopping centre and a major police operation is under way German media is reporting.
Reports say the area round the shopping centre in the district of Moosach has been sealed off, but details of the incident are sketchy.
The security forces have been on alert after a migrant stabbed five people on a train in Bavaria on Monday.
The authorities had warned of the danger of further attacks.

I don’t think the man on the balcony is German.
Probably Turkish. You can definitely hear it from the other voices in the background.
I believe the shooter was German, not saying he hasn’t had some Muslim connections. Who knows...

Exactly..
She seems a credible witness- it cost her dearly to admit what she heard.
“Body found 1km away is man from McDonalds video”
So this guy is in front of McD’s, on the roof of the shopping mall, and found dead 1km away from a self-inflicted wound?
"Kanake (also Kanacke or Kanaker) is a derogatory word used in German-speaking countries...and is now usually used with an exclusively derogatory connotation against people of Turkish or Middle Eastern ancestry."
Could be the Balcony guy is swearing at what he thinks is a Turkish gunman on the garage roof. Or, could be someone who is equally pissed at the "Turks" who tried to overthrow the islamist Erdogan.
Sure could go either way or something entirely different. However, it doesn't necessarily mean this was an attack by a "neo nazi" as many in the media would have us believe.
The publicly known evidence at this juncture seems to point to an islamist attack in Germany.
BTW, the Daily Mail has pics of the victims. One on a stretcher, one dead. Could only see their arms, but they appeared to be white.
I know there are refugees in Germany not of Middle Eastern descent, but why would someone who hated foreigners shoot down someone who had the same coloring as Germans? How did he know someone with his coloring was a foreigner of a regugee?
Based on the accent, I’d say the man on the balcony was Bavarian. The shooter doesn’t sound Bavarian.

We know of at least 10 injured persons. Police operations are still running. The Situation is still not clear.

very credible.
I have heard CNN report about Lauretta’s account three different times. Each time, CNN has given different details (not contradictory, but different) about what she said.
NEVER do they just play her whole interview in her own voice.
Frustrating because in one of the reports she said the gunman was young, wore dark clothing, and had a backpack. She also called his gun a pistol.
Odd that CNN won’t play the entire interview.
Please ping if CNN decides to release the entire interview.
WTH??
Well..I guess if he had a vehicle and was moving around during the initial chaos...
Tons of mozlems were born in Germany. Especially Turks.
Just reported she will announce any moment. (Bret Baier)
Well...in the photos I’ve seen he was carrying a handgun of some kind- not a rifle. He may also have had a jacket that he put on or took off along the way...too bad they won’t play the entire interview.
They were saying the one on the roof of the parking garage did not have that limp that the one in front of McDonald’s did.
We're getting more detail on the evacuation of the offices of Abendzeitung, a local Munich newspaper.
Lukas Schauer, a reporter with the paper, said "shots heard in the courtyard... Crazy."

Holy crap. Confirmed? Hope they’re very certain.
