Nobody likes Hillary, not even Hillary - but I digress.
Putin is a shrewd player who is 100% motivated by self interest.
Aside from the fact that Hillary has supported his opposition in OPEC, the economic health of the United States is vital national interest to Russia because when the US economy tanks the rest of the worlds economy tanks driving down demand for oil which drops both the volume demand and lowers the price per barrel.
Russia needs a strong US economy to firm up demand and pricing for oil and gas which are Russia's single largest export commodity and whose revenues float the Russian economy.
President Hillary will be owned by the Saudis and Qatar who both are actively working to destroy their Russian competition and she will tank the US economy - both of which spell doom for Russia and Putin.
