My US Rep is retiring 8th District TN. To chose from I’ve 2 party hacks, 1 a former head of state GOP the other former Mayor of Shelby CO (MEMPHIS) TN. A County Commissioner, a Right to Life supported State Rep, and a former State Sen. who has done a great job as Register of Deeds, I know his politics Pro Life, Pro 2nd Amendment (has NRA support), small government but not all that well known state wide, kept his promise as State Sen. 2 terms and out. I believe that it is a cartoon allegory with regard to
President Trump’s building an impenetrable wall between
America and Mexico, and possibly one between Canada and
America as well.

I saw Ryan’s name upthread but can’t find the post now.
Here’s the latest from his district.
“It shows that with one month remaining before Wisconsin’s August 9th vote, Ryan is polling at 43 percent.
Ryan’s challenger, Wisconsin businessman Paul Nehlen, is polling at 32 percent.”
