Humana, one of the largest health care providers in the country, has made the decision to eventually leave the vast majority of the Obamacare markets. Out of the 23 Obamacare co-ops that were established only seven remain, virtually all of them under threat of folding by the end of this year.

Oh my!!
Thing is, what we had before was screwed up because of *prior* attempts by Democrats to ‘fix it’!
Obama was NOT trying to fix anything. Where did you ever get that idea? What we had was fine and certainly better than the chaos we have now.
On a related note the DoJ has come against the buyout (or merger) of Humana by Aetna. I am not sure which came first — Humana decision to exit Obamacare or DoJ being against the Aetna / Humana merger.
Yes we do need to return to what we had before. Cheap major medical coverage with high deductibles would be a good start.
Yes, horror! Do you think she ever heard back from her Obamacare provider? What if she’s seriously ill? A young woman that drank the cool aid!
Hi Obama I didnt know you read FR.
I guess horror is different for folks....................
Take it from a guy who worked internationally in endoscopic surgical and laser training in the early-mid 90’s.
The NHS OR’s in the UK had all the trappings of a cheap motel room. The Doc’s I worked with only went there because it was compulsory for them to continue their private clinic work and keep their license to practice. They had to do a specified amount of NHS work.
The private clinics were however impeccably clean, modern and well equipped. I had several accounts in Manhattan at prestigious hospitals and they were on par with what I saw there in the private sector.
To be fair, I was doing a training class in Trinidad in 1991 shortly after a coup attempt and despite the fact that bugs were crawling on the walls during my time in the hospital, I had the privilege of working with one of the most talented surgeons I have ever met. So maybe it’s a give and take thing.
I’m glad if what is going on now is working out for you and wish you all the best. Just remember that sooner or later what is happening now will be no different than what’s going on in our nations VA hospitals. And there will always be a very efficient private sector of healthcare to take care,of those who can afford it.
Depends on our humanity?
There were some things that could have tweaked such as removing all the idiocy that Ted Kennedy shoved in the system but mess? No.
Obummers horrible pile of garbage that he forced on us, THAT is a mess.
This subject is actually a strong one for American Patriots. People are being forced to buy a product by an illegal tax.
I took issue with your wording. Get over it. Your a woman...I get it. I'm over it. Move on..........
“There is a sizable group of Americans, who think our healthcare coverage is currently very screwed up, and needs to be fixed.
Obama was trying to fix it. We do NOT need to return to what we had before. That was an absolute mess.”
Triple premiums, quadruple deductibles, and recently dumped from my insurer.
What universe are you living on?!
“Yes we do need to return to what we had before.”
And if the worthless Republicans had had any balls at all back when Boosh was president and they had majorities in both Houses, Obamacare would have never had a chance. Trump’s biggest challenge will be to get his own Party to help him change literally everything, not just healthcare. As I write this, I am watching Rancid Penis tell the RNC Convention about all these things “ they are going to do!” The GOPe is just a bucket of cocks!
“Humana, one of the largest health care providers in the country..”
“providers”......Brainwashed to the brainwashed.
I’m glad you did. Moving on. BTW I present as cis-male. PEACE.
Absolutely no bailouts for the insurance companies who helped foist Obamacare on us. Feel the pain!
In 85 I had insurance that paid 100% Emergency Medical. 80% for normal medical at any doctors I could choose. I also had 1 dollar prescriptions. The cost to me through my Employer was $1.66 per week. Suddenly the Government declares there is a big problem and we get HMO’s. From there it was all down hill at break neck speed. Rising premiums and major restrictions.
As soon as the government gets involved every thing goes to crap.
I hereby nominate your post for the stupid nonsense of the decade award.
