There was plenty of drama at Wednesday night's Republican National Convention, but it was Megyn Kelly's spaghetti-strap dress that caused Twitter to be overrun with harsh criticisms about her 'unprofessional' appearance.
The 45-year-old Fox News star has been busy covering the GOP Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, this week, but it was last night's form-fitting dress, which bared her shoulders and the upper part of her chest, that caused a stir with her audience, as critics took to social media to slam Megyn for 'wearing a bikini' and dressing like a 'cocktail waitress'.
The Twitter uproar comes as her boss is under fire from the network for gender discrimination and sexual harassment of female employees.
Roger Ailes is being ousted from the cable giant he built in the wake of a sexual harassment and gender discrimination suit filed by the network's former anchor Gretchen Carlson.
According to New York Magazine, Megyn has told independent investigators hired by the Murdochs in the wake of the lawsuit that she too was victimized by Ailes ten years ago.

And some wonder why many of us don’t take her seriously. And one must also wonder of her accusations of Roger Ailes... with her track record of bimbo-ism.
She’s just gettin’ warmed up: http://www.gotceleb.com/wp-content/uploads/photos/megyn-kelly/out-in-nyc/Megyn-Kelly-in-Leather-Dress—03-662x993.jpg
“More like Shep in a speedo sporting lipstick and mascara!”
Yes! Thanks for the correction. ;)
Looks like an evening gown. I didn’t see her, as I never watch her anymore. She can tart herself up all she wants, I don’t care about her at all.
Hillary wants a showdown.
Megyn is 45 years old. She will soon be facing the fact that she got to where she is because she was eye candy.
Now she’s aging eye candy, who is rapidly approaching the end of her shelf life. It worries her enough that she has to try to prove she’s still got “it”.
It seems she is saying “Look but Don’t touch” or I will make a fortune off of you.
Word of advice Megyn: If you want to win a sexual harassment lawsuit, don’t show up for work looking like a 2-bit street walker.
Greta is also among the Fox talent who has a contract clause allowing her to leave the network when Roger Ailes departs. Bill the Bloviator, Sean Hannity, the hosts of The Five and the morning anchors have the same clause.
For an alleged harasser, Roger Ailes has built a cadre of fanatically-loyal employees in a business known for colossal egos and in-fighting. And, if Ailes decides to launch a new network, he can staff it with established hosts who can attract an audience quickly.
As I’m typing this, I see Ailes has resigned and Rupert Murdoch will become the acting chief of Fox News. Surprising move—never expected the elder Murdoch to assume that position, even on an interim basis. Thought someone like Ailes’ EVP, Bill Shine, would move into the top job. Suggests Shine may have resigned as well.
The mass exodus from FNC begins...
Megyn has gone berserk with her appearance.
The lesbo hairdo, wife beater T-Shirts now this.
There were stories that after the first debate she wanted to be taken more serious, but she has gone the opposite direction.
Maybe she forgot the shrug that was supposed to cover herself with.
Yes, without a doubt, she is the exception, one of very few. In fact, I can’t think of any. Such a turnoff to me. I never take them seriously. And they are fools to allow themselves to be used in that way.
Been there, Done that !

I can’t believe so many (most) of you think that there is anything wrong with her dress.
It’s SUMMER! That’s a summer dress. Risque? Hardly! Low Cut? Again, Hardly. Are any of you aware that women have breasts? Shoulders? Neck?? Was this the first time any of you saw 1% of a breast?
Look I am a red blood American male...and that is a fine looking woman...
This outfit is just a professional courtesy to the working girls that can not come up to her level.
yes but for an anchor of a political convention?
“Low cut but nothing to show.”
Especially between the “ears.”
I see nothing wrong with this.
