CLEVELAND Sen. Ted Cruz's camp fired back at Chris Christie Thursday, accusing the governor of having "turned over his political testicles long ago."
Jeff Roe, Cruz's former campaign manager, took to the airwaves to hit New Jersey's governor after Christie spent lthe morning and last night trashing Cruz after the Texas lawmaker failed to endorse GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention on Wednesday.
"That guy turned over his political testicles long ago," Roe said on the Chris Stigall Show on Philadelphia radio. "So I don't take what he has to say with any meaning. You know, he embarrassed himself pretty quickly in this."
Christie endorsed Trump shortly after ending his own presidential bid and now heads his transition team. He lost out in the battle to be Trump's running mate.
Roe's response came after Christie unleashed on Cruz Wednesday night after the lawmaker's speech during the GOP convention. Christie called the speech "awful" and "selfish."
"He signed a pledge," said the governor, one of Trump's closest advisers. "It's his job to keep his word ... Our words should matter. That's what disgusts people out in the audience about politicians."
Christie didn't up on hitting Cruz the next morning, either.
"I wasn't the least bit surprised," Christie said at a New Jersey GOP breakfast event.
"That's who he is and it's why he is the most disliked person in either party on Capitol Hill," he said. "That was on full display last night."

And there were those who thought he was ‘principled’.
Because he’s currently at a depth of 5 feet and coffins get buried at 6.
Same here, Christie’s been a straight shooter.
I could buy all of that if I heard that Trump tried to apologize to Lying Ted, his ugly wife, his father and his supporters and likewise if Cruz offended Trump. They both need to bury the hatchet.
Teddy is going full scorched earth in order to “save” the establishment. Boy oh boy are his true colors shining through.
You can add Amanda Carpenter to that list..there is NO doubt in my mind that she is having an affair with Ted Cruz..the way she swoons over him is not like your normal liking of a candidate..I bet if Cruz had been the nominee the media already has pictures of those two going into hotel rooms together
And Glen Beck.
I’m so glad I’ve never seen “Brokeback Mountain”....
At this point, anybody still in “Sen. Ted Cruz’s camp” might as well burn all the bridges. What is the point of a Sen. Ted Cruz’s camp anyway? The remaining Cruz cult may still think themselves principled, conservative, whatever.
I was told Cruz did the ‘calculated risk’ of what he did last night, but after this morning, he is DONE. He whined about Trump going after his wife, his father, as the main reason he couldn’t support Trump. Even I know that Cruz is ‘stretching the truth’. Lying Ted, indeed.
Oh Rafael.
Because the media and democrats (but I repeat myself) are LOL at the GOP now and are going to make this into a giant mountain to place doubt in the hearts of Americans.
The purpose: Elect Hillary.
Cruz could have just shut his yapper, give a nice little speech about what his supporters meant to him and left it at that. But nope, he’s gained the glaring spotlight of the media and democrat darlin’s.
As of last night, he is an agent for those who want Hillary to win.
I think both Cruz and Beck enjoy being self-styled liberals on race and immigration and want adulation from their illogical positions of Affirmative Action/Open Borders/General Welcoming Efforts. Those positions drag Beck and Cruz down the insanity hole.
I say he was an agent for Hillary when he tried to blame BLM’s Chicago violence on DT.
That showed me how low he was willing to go with his lies.
I see this going down the memory hole really fast in the next few days and be forgotten.
Pretty much the vast majority of the Never Trump crowd, including any the few remaining Sen. Cruz supporters have called it quits as of this week/last night. Cruz is TOAST. He will be primary.
Despite Cruz's attacks on his party's donor class and establishment, the Texas senator Ted Cruz's GOP campaign has received $37 million from just four donors. The Wilks family of Cisco, Texas, New York hedge fund tycoon Bob Mercer, Texas energy investor Toby Neugebauer and Illinois manufacturing moguls Dick and Liz Uihlein.

His BC:
Ted Cruz has close association with the Bushes. He worked on George W. Bush^s 2000 presidential campaign as a domestic policy adviser and served in the Bush administration as associate deputy attorney general in the Justice Department and director of policy planning in the Federal Trade Commission. Time magazine article:
Time magazine had one of many reports clarifying his immigration posturing:
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz declined to close the door to a potential pathway to legal status for the 11 million people in the U.S. illegally Friday, saying he wouldn"t elaborate on his plans for them until after the border is secure.
Seeking to carve out a space between real estate mogul Donald Trump, who is calling for the forcible deportation of those in the U.S. illegally, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, who co-authored the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform bill that included a pathway to citizenship, Cruz would not explicitly rule out a pathway to legal status for the undocumented.
That, plus his previous support for a huge increase in H1B visas, stymied him as he tried to launch an attack on Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who was a co-author and major mover on the Gang of 8 immigration bill that passed the Senate overwhelmingly. On one level, Rubio" team is simply pointing out that if anti-immigration types want the real deal, Cruz is not the one. Rubio, of course, benefits if Cruz cannot capture the anti-immigration segment of the electorate to whom Donald Trump panders. On another level, however, what is at stake is a larger argument about Cruz's character. Essentially. the argument goes: He is not a hard-liner; he's an opportunist whose positions are no different, and in some cases worse, than those of other Republicans.
On immigration, for example, the entire anti-"amnesty" crusade is a canard unless, like Trump, you want to round people up and kick them out. Otherwise, you are exactly where other candidates are fix the border, reform legal immigration and then regularize the 11 million here. Cruz spends his time excoriating other Republicans for squishiness, but when you get down to it, he's exactly where they are unwilling to undertake a massive, expensive, intrusive deportation program. In other words, he's not an anti-immigration extremist; he's just posturing as one.
What do we know about Rafael Eduardo Cruz? He was born in a foreign country.
He was admitted to Harvard only because of Affirmative Action Admissions Policies. He was given good grades by Liberal professors because of his race, even though his work was substandard. He has kept his college transcripts secret for reasons he will not admit. He has had a shameful Senate record, accomplishing nothing, not voting, not showing up for work. Not a SINGLE US Senator from his 99 colleagues has endorsed Cruz for president. These are the people he works with. Senator Sessions & Gov Palin saw through Cruz, and endorsed Trump!
Cruz never had a real job in the private sector. He has been cashing government checks all his adult life.
Never held a private sector job, graduated from Harvard, constitutional scholar, lawyer, junior senator, foreign born, hides his real name, hid his nationality during his senate run, repeatedly failed to vote as senator, and immediately began seeking the office of president once elected. He is also the anointed one.

Hard to tell if this is Cruz or Obama.
yep
[He has had a shameful Senate record, accomplishing nothing, not voting, not showing up for work.]
Oh, thought that was Obama .... my bad ...... it’s almost as if there’s a similarity .....
