Of course, burning the flag is not illegal; it’s just that
blocking entrances & exits and setting fires to do so is

I’m sure most people have noticed that the convention has passed by rather peacefully compared to what was predicted. I heard someone say that the “demonstrators” themselves say that it has been subdued because Black Lies Matter, smarting from the bad publicity after the murder of 9 cops, has had a minimal presence. That is only part of the reason.

The other part is that few people are inspired by the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency. This bodes ill for her. Even her supporters, after hearing Comey expose her as “reckless” “extremely careless” and so “unsophisticated” that she didn’t even know how to recognize classified material, are having their doubts about her ability to perform as president. One poll shows that 56 percent think that she should have been charged, and that includes a significant percentage of democrats, and a more significant number of independents.

The relative peace and calm at the republican convention may be the harbinger of an impending disaster for Clinton.

They way I heard it reported on the radio this morning was that the one of the burners caught themselves on fire when burning the flag(s), and the police (with a fire extinguisher) was trying to put them out ("Dude, you're on fire!").

Commies then claimed the police were pepper-spraying them.

Never forget that flag burning is an ol' time professional rasslin' heel gimmick used to antagonize the fans. America's "Communists" (unlike those in every other country of the world, who all pose as nationalists and super-patriots, never mind governing as social conservatives when they're in power) aren't trying to appeal to the American people, but to alienate and manipulate them.
