I’m sure most people have noticed that the convention has passed by rather peacefully compared to what was predicted. I heard someone say that the “demonstrators” themselves say that it has been subdued because Black Lies Matter, smarting from the bad publicity after the murder of 9 cops, has had a minimal presence. That is only part of the reason.
The other part is that few people are inspired by the prospect of a Hillary Clinton presidency. This bodes ill for her. Even her supporters, after hearing Comey expose her as “reckless” “extremely careless” and so “unsophisticated” that she didn’t even know how to recognize classified material, are having their doubts about her ability to perform as president. One poll shows that 56 percent think that she should have been charged, and that includes a significant percentage of democrats, and a more significant number of independents.
The relative peace and calm at the republican convention may be the harbinger of an impending disaster for Clinton.
It pretty much mean Mr. Trump has the White House.
Comey made excuses for Clinton. Clinton didn’t make the excuse, Comey did. His active defense of her criminality makes him an accessory.
He expects us to believe that the Secretary of State does not know how to handle classified material, that the Secretary of State is too “unsophisticated”.
The only person here who is unsophisticated is Comey, only a simpleton could expect the public to buy his insultingly outrageous lies.
I read a couple of the protest organizers are blaming Ohio's Open Carry laws.
They said would be protestors are telling them that they are afraid of legally armed ordinary citizens might be carrying and won't come to protest.
Of all the reasons, that seems the most plausible.
As I said a couple weeks ago, the story on "violence & Cleveland RNC" will be about how little of it there was.
