Cruz is delusional if he thinks he will be able to best Trump as a sitting President in the 2020 primaries. Therefore, Cruz needs Trump to lose so he can run in four years.
This has been a theory advanced by numerous political writers and pundits over the past week or two.
Hardspunned cited the theory, envisioning Cruz’s gambit to be effective as opined about by so many, and added the fact that Hillary (if given the chance) will complete the destruction of the nation.
You interpreted that statement to be a wish on Hardspunned’s part. I do not read it that way - the comment was more on Cruz’s evident scenario than Hardspunned’s desire.
I have no issues whatsoever with calling out those who espouse liberal attitudes and desires. I just do not see it as equitable in this instance, FRiend.

You need to step back and look at the whole conversation we are discussing, which is predicated on numerous pundits and commentators making points illustrating how Ted is trying to set himself up for 2020 - when Trump would be an incumbent President.

Cruz was never to be allowed nomination. He was intended to be allowed only as far to be Jeb’s VP running mate only.

Cruz had nothing to do with that picture of Melania. It was done by a group of Mormons who raised a little bit of money because they considered Trump vulgar. It has been looked at and looked at. It wasn’t Cruz.
