A 51-foot joint will make an appearance in Philly for the Democratic National Convention next week.
No, it doesn’t actually contain marijuana – just a lot of air. The giant joint has circulated at past events in New York City and Washington, D.C.
DCMJ, an organization pushing for marijuana legalization, will lead the joint-centered march. It’s expected to start sometime after noon on July 25th, according to PhillyVoice. Volunteers will help carry the joint to the convention, and activists will support it on the return journey.
According to the Associated Press, the Secret Service flagged and restricted the whereabouts of the joint during a protest held at the White House in April. We’ll see if it sparks any controversy next week.

We could smuggle a bunch of our people into the DNC convention inside the giant joint, and when Hillary comes to the podium, we all bust out yelling “LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP!” while tossing bogus joints into the dumbocrat crowd.
And while the dimwits scramble like revelers at Mardi Gras to catch them, we rush the podium and conduct a citizens’ arrest.
Man. That would be the best live TV ever.

When your pursuit of happiness lifestyle is being funded by my tax dollars, I think your pursuit of that kind of happiness is no longer constitutional. Honestly, I would be happy to watch all these losers destroy their lives with drugs but I would prefer not to have to pay for it. and then there’s the crime associated with it of course. But I have made up my mind, if Hillary wins, I’m doing a 180 on the whole drug thing. Anything that destroys democrats is fine with me so I’m going to be 100% on board with the legalization of heroin. anything.

No, actually it’s a good thing. The late William F. Buckley always argued marijuana should be legalized. The fact that it isn’t is why it’s available to kids. Drug dealers don’t ask for id.

Why not just leave it up to the states per the Tenth Amendment? Fedgov has no business in the intrastate regulation of mj.
