Milo Suspended Permanently by Twitter Minutes Before ‘Gays For Trump’ Party At RNC
Breitbart ^ | 19 Jul 2016 | Ben Kew

Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos has been suspended from Twitter once more just 20 minutes before his “Gays for Trump” event takes place at the Republican National Convention.

The justification for the suspension is currently unknown, although it could be as a result of Milo’s run-in with Ghostbusters actress Leslie Jones on the site. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey publicly reached out to Jones late on Monday evening following her complaints of “abuse” on the platform.

BuzzFeed are reporting that the suspension is permanent, citing a statement from Twitter promising a clampdown on “targeted abuse.” Milo has also received a message from Twitter confirming that that his ban is permanent, copied below.

In a comment, Milo said “With the cowardly suspension of my account, Twitter has confirmed itself as a safe space for Muslim terrorists and Black Lives Matter extremists, but a no-go zone for conservatives.”

“Twitter is holding me responsible for the actions of fans and trolls using the special pretzel logic of the left. Where are the Twitter police when Justin Bieber’s fans cut themselves on his behalf?”

“Like all acts of the totalitarian regressive left, this will blow up in their faces, netting me more adoring fans. We’re winning the culture war, and Twitter just shot themselves in the foot.”

“This is the end for Twitter. Anyone who cares about free speech has been sent a clear message: you’re not welcome on Twitter.”

exactly... even if there were a conservative twitter, the company would have to censure. What the alt right pranksters want is the ability to troll for fun. That’s what 4chan and 8chan are for.

He may be a little shady. I worry that narcissists, like Arianna Huffington, can switch on a dime. If he does that, David Horowitz is going to rip him a new one! At this point, Horowitz is a big fan.

He claimed on Facebook that he was going to led a gay pride parade in Malmo, Sweden. That generated hundreds of responses. But I haven’t heard a word since!

He’s a good-looking guy, no doubt, but he’s going to get old too. And in the gay world, there’s nothing worse than being an old queen.

On the plus side, he has a good sense of humor, puts himself on, and is good on islam.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. He has encouraged stupid people on FB to go up to fat men and women and shame them. In this country, that’s going to get a pistol up your nostril. What business is it of his anyway?

I follow him on FB so every day I get a communication from him. And that fat shaming is real and ugly.

He is going to Sweden next week, Breitbart streamed the event he Geert Wilders and Pamela Gellar were speaking at and he mentioned that.

why does Hollywood do so many remakes/reboots/sequels/franchises in movies anyway??

I have to wonder if it isn't the end-result of a century's deterioration of public education. Young writers don't know history, haven't read the great Western Canon, are totally ignorant of the Bible and biblical allusions, and, frankly, can't write very well to begin with.

All they're capable of is bad remakes of what came before.

Nope.

Milo’s anti-fat stance is directly linked to his anti-feminism stance and the PC culture encouraging acceptance of everyone, to the detriment of women’s health.

I know he’s brash. That’s his schtick. He does it well and it makes him very effective. Not everyone is going to like it.

It’s also got a lot to do with Risk Aversion. Making a film is very expensive. They will green light garbage like this in a heartbeat compared to taking a risk on an unknown. The music industry is even worse because all the money is gone. When multi-million dollar films are stolen and seen worldwide on line for free the way music is, it will get even worse. Currently there industry is protected by bandwidth. That won’t last much longer.

I don’t care if his fat-shaming is linked to the discovery of the Atom.

It is disgraceful, loathsome, and antithetical to the American character which is excessively polite - unlike crude Brits who always think highly personal humor is funny.

Milo does not like women. In this, he is highly typical of urban gays who privately make the most vulgar remarks about women and their anatomy. You are aware of this tendency, aren’t you? I am, having had to share dressing rooms with these guys for 35 years. Their hatred comes out after the 2nd G&T at the restaurant after the show. He also has the garbage-mouth of many gay men.

Milo has many good points. He is right on muslims and guns. But he is very young, very callow and I fear, a bit of a climber to the top of the greasy pole.

I should also add he’s very good on political correctness and its effect on college campuses.

Milo, are you surprised? Really?

Twitter was invented by Leftists as a mind control and mob organization tool.

Interesting point. I get the impression that old movies and TV shows from decades past, are written better, with more nuance and depth to characters and storylines.

Ooo-ooh, a gay icon dared to go off the plantation. How dare he be gay and conservative! Don’t worry; Twitter will punish him! Take that, Milo!

There’s plenty of OPEN SOURCE social networking software out there and in fact, plenty of open source software period but they may require a little extra work to learn and people are too lazy. All the big tech companies are headed up by leftists and conservatives are too scared or lazy to shun them I guess, or just don’t know about the alternatives.

Someone with a big name, like Milo, with tech experience, like Milo, needs to take the lead in a conservative tech revolution and it really needs to be with open source because it most reflects our founding principles. Capitalism is fine but the masses have become slaves to leftech.

There’s open source linux based software for pretty much everything and if more people would get on board, the software would become as full featured as retail. It’s not too far off as it stands. The first step is to ditch windows for debian/ubuntu or other linux based operating system.

Computing is really the equivalent to language and mathematics. It’s knowledge and shouldn’t be copyrighted. The machines themselves, of course are material goods and therefor, capitalism applies.

Face it, the definition of conservative has changed this year.

Change with it.

Then, IMO, there’s no difference vs. the Left; the masters at perverting the dictionary.

Either words have meaning, or they are useless. One cannot state ‘conservative’ does/n’t mean XYZ and rail against the ‘living-breathing Constitution’ too.

By *FAR*, I’m NO cheerleader re: the term ‘conservative’. But, if one is going to stand behind the moniker...

Lots of it’s an act, of course, and the outrageousness is calculated and is the attraction. He understands the American constitution far better than most Americans. He understands politics. He understands how to break through and destroy the SJWs—something NO republican will even take on. That’s why he rags on fat people—it is simply a reaction to the “body image” idiots on campus, a crazy movement most of us don’t even know about, but which fits in with all the gender b.s.

While republican think tanks crank out white papers on the ruin of the American University, this guy actually goes there and takes them on. Yes, his mouth if filthy, but he is in a battleground that the geezers do not understand at all. (I’m a geezer, by the way). Desperate times, desperate measures. “Respectable conservatives” do not treat the turf he is fighting for. It’s an alley fight, and it’s dirty, and normal conservatives don’t stand a chance. So, I’ll take any fighter, filthy mouth or not.

I’m sorry, the ‘fat thing’ comes from his gay body obsessions, not some political point of view. I swear, none of you have ever known gay men long term from some of the comments I am reading here! It’s a problem among the red state conservatives that sometimes they don’t know the culture wars up front and personal.

It is one thing to admire Milo for certain important stances that he takes. But to jump on every outré idea he has is as lunatic as fat-shaming strangers.

Since you admire his stance so much, have you confronted any fat people recently? You know, gotten right up in their face as he advocates?

Not my thing, and I think it’s largely a put on. You sound very sensitive about it. I believe it’s to outrage the left, to combat the Trigglypuff “body image fanatics”. I just see the guy as a net plus, and I think I recognize political theater when I see it. If you disagree, you disagree.

I knew, of course, that one of you would suspect I’m ‘sensitive.’ No. I’m slim. Always have been.

But I loathe personal remarks - especially when doled out by Brits who have no understanding of Americans and think everything cruel that comes out of their posh mouths will be interpreted as amusing. The late great Christopher Hitchens wrote very eloquently at the end of his life at how he finally came to understand that Americans didn’t lack irony - they simply were too polite to acknowledge British loutishness.

Of course, I knew you wouldn’t be fat-shaming anyone. It’s dangerous, it’s cruel and takes enormous guts as well as stupidity. And if it’s a put-on, it plays right into my idea that Milo doesn’t do it himself - just encourages others to do it on his behalf.

I would do a simple google - something like “Gays hate fat people” and see what comes up. It’s fairly educational if the only gay guy you ever met was Mr. Rogers on television.
