Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is no stranger to popular culture, and it looks like he’s never going to give up trolling Donald Trump.
To celebrate April Fools’ Day, Cruz “rickrolled” visitors to his campaign’s website by sharing a video that purported to show how Trump had finally accepted his challenge to a one-on-one debate — after months of dragging his feet.
The Cruz camp shared a video that shows the Texas senator speaking in Des Moines, Iowa, inviting Trump to debate him at any time. Then it shows two clips of Trump: In the first, he brags about polls showing him to have won every single debate; in the second — taken out of context — he says, “We’re gonna go on forever with these debates.”

Somebody injected the lyrics of the Rick Rolling “Never Gonna Give You Up” into her speech. I’m torn between thinking the speech writer is either a Hillary mole or a Cruz mole.

Trump said he was being attacked from all sides. he is right.
It could have been the GOPe for all we know.
Or it could have been Trump trolling everyone.

He wasn’t slandered. He was a liar. And Heidi wasn’t attacked either. Cruz had those nude modeling photo of Melania made into an attack ad, so Trump shot back.
The greasy Cuban faker is no good. His closeness with Romney forces and wild success in Utah tells the whole story.
But one big problem, Trump came along and threw a wrench in the wheel box and stopped everything...the same as Bush running with Hillary, to assure Hillary the office, and Jeb being the pansy ass he is, would have completed the plan...
Trump is going to the Oval Office, make no mistake about it, the way they have shot arrows at him for over a year, and nothing has stuck, you know this to be true and factual...
The American People have spoken, and Trump will be the 45th POTUS...
It smells like Cruz to me. It’s nerdy, badly timed, and a gift for the other side.

You know, I support Trump because he’s the only remaining chance we have to beat Her Thighness, but spreading crap like that about a good and reliable conservative like Cruz is silly and why there are so many NeverTrumpers remaining.

I’m with you. It is far too intentional. It’s hilarious watching the left make a big deal out of this. The side by side comparisons of “Mrs.” Obama and Mrs. Trump are even more hilarious.
Between this and the rickroll, all Trump has to say is nearly 24 hours were dedicated to four sentences in a speech by the future first lady by our glorious media. Nowhere near as much emotion or due diligence was on display when the Benghazi story broke.
What would be even more amazing is if Trump and Co. had something notarized stating that this whole ploy was intentional. However, that level of antics can cause mistrust.
I wish people would calm down and look at those that are making such a big deal out of this ... this is, believe it or not, going to *help* Trump. While the media will show the infamous four sentences, so many more are going to watch the entire thing on YouTube all because of this silly “outrage” on the left.
I was watching this speech on CBS last night. Shortly after it was over, they had Charlie Rose interviewing Mrs. Bill Clinton. You went from watching an angel speak to watching the Emperor from Star Wars get all wound up over the public not trusting her ... and it was so evident that Rose was pandering to her and afraid to ask her “tough questions” that most wouldn’t have a problem answering.
Now, people that normally would have never seen a frame of Trump’s wife’s speech are going to watch it. Then they’re going to watch the seahag speak. They’ll come to the proper conclusion that this entire outburst is nothing but political nonsense and Trump wins more support. Her speech was outstanding and needs to be seen by lots more people that would otherwise not watch it.
Let them keep on spreading the word for us ... others need to relax and just enjoy the show.

You’re claiming there’s treachery within Trump’s inner circle? I don’t think so. He wouldn’t allow such a thing.
Much of what has been sent against candidate Trump has been ineffective, and more often than not it was turned back on those who set out to harm him and his candidacy.
If Melania is innocent here, and I'm going to give her the benefit of doubt in this case, and if what was written for her to say was done in malice, then I'm looking forward to watching this work itself out.
I don’t think Cruz did anything here but you must have lived in a remote cave for months. TPA and Coker vote are hardly conservative. Neither are his lies( voter mailings, lying about Carson). Not telling citizens he was a Canadian citizen when he ran for the senate. And the phoney prayers with his family and allowing himself to be likened to a Mormon prophesy or the face of God are far from Christian not to mention breaking an oath to support the nominee. Wake up!

And his delegates are threatening to walk out if he isn’t put into nomination, given free rein in a speech, and if the rules governing the 2020 nomination process aren’t changed to work against candidates like Trump.

Tell it to Amanda Carpenter. And yes, Cruz indeed had that Melania ad released. Attacking that lady after she was caught being so kind to his kids at a debate? That told me he was a first class low life.
Has he lived up to his pledge? No. He made the pledge thinking he would win.
