I enjoyed watching the opening night of the GOP Convention via Direct TV’s channel #347.
I cannot imagine watching the lamestream media broadcasts, with their hideous platoons of prattling sycophants. From the many similar comments I read in your posts, it appears the only sane alternative for many here at FR last night- was CSPAN.
Of all the speeches from the opening night, Mayor Giuliani’s impassioned fiery oratorical Samurai sword, stood out the most, seeing how he was the leader of New York City, during the 9-11 attacks, instilling a Churchillian like strength in the people, by his calm and steady hand on the till, earning the nation’s gratitude, thus- his impassioned speech, and subsequent endorsement of DJT for POTUS, (who he knows as well as anyone) was deeply moving, greatly respected, and resoundingly golden.
The giant nothing burger regarding the made up kerfuffle over the alleged plagiarism by Melania Trump, of Chewbacca’s speech, is the absolute height of despair by the priggy media whores, that- operate at no more than a room temperature/grade school level of journalistic intelligence.
Sincere apologies to all aspiring grade school kids interested in a journalism career.
Sadly, FR’s main board, right on key, is rife with concern trolls and pearl clutchers, babbling incessantly about the doom and despair that has been wrought upon Trump, by the high crimes and misdemeanors committed by Melania.
It’s a transparent attempt to Palinize Melania.
Thank goodness for the peace and solace that THIS thread, and it’s contributors provide, for refuge from the cacophony of the utterly stupid lemmings and mindless sheep, that have somehow managed to escape from their burrows and pens, taking up residence here at FR.
Lastly, with little reservation, I celebrate my 59th birthday with all of you wonderful patriots today, AND- finally, leave the Valley of the Sun, for the mountain hinterlands of the western flank of the Sierra, taking seasonal employment at a remote rustic resort.
My breakfast is whatever is leftover in the fridge, which is as follows-
One small watermelon
One eggplant to be lightly fried in an egg batter
One bowl of cooked brown cracked wheat with butter and black pepper (think grits)
Two pieces of buttered toast slathered in grape jelly
One large ice cold glass of milk
Several cups of hot tea, sweetened to taste (cream optional)
A couple glasses of ice water to wash it all down

After Giuliani imitated PIAPS’ “What difference does it make” speech, the look on his face, especially around his mouth, was priceless. It’s like he’d been forced to eat a pound of dog crap by having to even think about that wretched lesbian human being.
