Ernst was scheduled for prime time, but the convention was behind schedule.
She met several times with the Trump campaign. She is being groomed by the Trump campaign as a Senate spokesman for them.
Her school teacher demeanor is annoying to political junkies, but very effective with more casual observers. She always sounds like she’s addressing a crowd without using a sound system. Like a patient military officer.
